I mix in P90X with the gym and Spinning. I haven't done many of the weight focused videos (I lift at the gym) but find the cardio focused exercises fun and a great supplement to my overall routine. I typically eat a little under my target throughout the week to "save" calories for a cheat day on Saturdays. I am more concerned with hitting the weekly goal.

I would highly suggest a heart rate monitor that tracks calories. I have found that MFP is generous on calories burned during workouts (cardio machines at the gym do as well). It is a worthwhile investment. You might not be netting as few calories as you think.
