I'm an extremely dedicated MFPer (I've got a year+ streak!) and I'm looking for all sorts of friends. Whether you've got a little bit of weight to lose or a lot of weight or you're at your goal weight or whatever I'm happy to support you with your goals. :) I'm into reading, cooking, video games, RPGs, zombies and more.…

I'm in Wales and always looking for new friends. I'm actually Canadian though! :)

Last time I posted in this thread was almost a year ago so here goes again: I'm an extremely dedicated MFPer (I've got a year+ streak!) and I'm looking for all sorts of friends. Whether you've got a little bit of weight to lose or a lot of weight or you're at your goal weight or whatever I'm happy to support you with your…

Hi there! I'm still looking for friends. I've got a 220+ day streak for logging so I'm not just about to disappear. I'm 24, I live in the UK but I'm Canadian. I'm a bit of a geek (fantasy, video games, zombies, Sci fi, etc.), a heavy reader, and I love cooking. If you're looking for an active MFPer to be friends with, feel…

24, feel free to add me. :)

Welcome to MFP!

Welcome to MFP. I've lost over 60 lbs but still have around 40 to go. Everyone is free to add me. :)

Log everything you eat. You'll notice a difference in what you choose to eat because lower-calorie foods tend to be more filling. It gives you a reality check. I lost weight - over 60 lbs so far, just by eating in moderation. Check out my diary if you want to see - I eat out and pizza and all that other yummy stuff too.…

228 days so far... after the first month it became automatic so it's easy to keep up. :)
-
I log daily. Everyone is welcome to add me. :# I've lost over 60 lbs using MFP but I've still got over 40 to go, so don't be shy. :D

Repost on here, but I'm looking for all sorts of friends. Whether you need support or if you're supportive, or if you've got a little or a lot to lose feel free to add me! I log in every day (and have for the past 177 days). :grinning:

Hi Corrine! I'm from Barry. I'll add you :)

Hi Muzik! I've got 104 lbs to lose and I'm about halfway there. You definitely CAN do this! I log in every day so if you're looking for active MFPers I'm one of 'em. :D

Congratulations! :)

Welcome to MFP! I'm a Canadian but I live in the UK. Feel free to add me. ^^

Welcome to MFP, Bella. I'm sure you'll do great! I'm always up for meeting new friends too. What are your interests? :)

Lizzie, why don't you get them reworked into a new piece of jewelry? The others are right about the loss of value in the jewelry if you sell it. Unless, of course, you REALLY need the money - I'd try and get a professional valuation if possible before selling them though to make sure you're not getting ripped off.

I'm a Canadian living in the UK, do I count? :) I'm originally from Ontario. You can do great, by the way. Believe in yourself and it WILL happen. Just log everything you eat and the rest somehow takes care of itself :agree:

I'm always looking for new friends. Congrats on getting your problem fixed. :)

Welcome to MFP! I'm sure you'll do great. :)

Welcome to MFP! You're welcome to add me too. Add everything you eat to MFP and you'll notice the results even if you don't start any particular diet. Something about seeing the numbers in black and white before you eat something really helps you resist that second cookie. :) Horse riding sounds like a lot of fun, I'm sure…

Welcome to the site! My best advice is to log EVERYTHING you eat, no matter how small. Even if you make no changes to your diet whatsoever you'll find that logging everything you eat deters you from eating that entire bag of chips, etc. If you've got any questions, feel free to message me :)
-
Welcome to MFP! This app is awesome - just remember to log EVERYTHING you eat and you'll do great. It is a good motivator not to have that second cookie if you know you'll have to log it ;)

It really depends on self-assessment. If you're on your feet all day you're at least lightly active, but if I understand correctly, CNA = Certified Nursing Assistant. If you're helping patients around and lifting things you'll easily fit into the "active" category (they've given a waitress as an example and most of their…

I find that a lot of the time we underestimate the amount of walking we do. I do a desk job as well but manage to get quite a bit of walking done according to my Fitbit. That being said, I've put myself as "inactive" but also gain a lot of extra calories to eat through my Fitbit steps per day (as many as 900/day if I am…

Welcome to MFP! :) I'm in the same boat as you. What are your interests?
-
Welcome to MFP! I know 70 lbs sounds like a lot but if you're patient with yourself, it will happen. :) It seems you and I have similar reasons for getting fit. (Zombies). ;)
-
I log in every day and am looking for new friends. If you're looking for support, or if you're supportive yourself, add me! :)
-
Well done, congratulations on your weight loss. Keep it up! :)

Ouch! I know that can be discouraging but the good news is you know you have done it once so you can definitely do it again! You mentioned that you found out at the doctor's. Do you have a scale at home? While a scale shouldn't be your only measurement it can help you arrest the weight gain earlier if you see it happening.…
