Diet pills don't work but sometimes especially for women losing weight is difficult due to a lack of calcium and vitamin D. Taking a multivitamin or a tablet of the two may help a bit but you still need to eat right and exercise.

My back rolls and it is just starting to be noticeable on my belly

When i was on Depo I maintained my weight and actually feel on the lighter side of my normal weight. 165lbs-170lbs. Once off of Depo and onto an oral contraceptive I gained 25lbs in six months. I feel that it may have been hormones from the shot but now that I've been off it since November I've had no issues.

I don't count the actual shopping but I walk to the grocery store and back (40 mins each way). Toting home five bags of groceries is pretty hard work! Although I am cooking for myself so there may be less than you would have to carry. If possible try walking/jogging to the store and if you have too much to carry get…

I am not sure what a teatox completely entails but I do drink a detox tea every night before going to bed. It helps keep the water weight off, keeps me regular and yes, I have seen a change in my skin. As for energy I am not sure whether it is just my new nutritious diet/exercise or the tea but I do have much more energy…

I am headed home for a wedding and everyone in my family are heavy drinkers/eaters so my goal for the week is everything in moderation! I also aim to continue running each morning even though I will be away and stay within my calorie goals.

I am in the same boat as you! I gained the freshmen 15 (or 25 in my case) after i went away for school and now I'm using the summer to get back on track. How I've done it so far is by following these steps: 1. Track daily 2. Exercise daily (even if its just a walk to the store) 3. Limit the number of times I eat out to…

All the women in my family get headaches from eating artificial red dye, too much chocolate and aspartame. I've cut out red dye and aspartame but in moderation we all still indulge on chocolate.

Same here! I have a wedding with free booze and tons of food so I am going to try and keep up running each morning (even the day after) and eat/drink in moderation.

5'7" initially looking to lose 40lbs so if you need some support hit me up! We are pretty much in the same boat here. I've only been dieting for a month and a half and I've lost 13. If can seem pretty hopeless at first but once the results start coming in all your hard work will pay off. Best of luck!

I am 5"6' 180 pounds now and my boyfriend is 6"2' 145 pounds so yes I know the feeling! He doesn't care how much I weigh but due to gender roles I am always feeling inadequate. Also my goal weight will still be 10lbs heavier than him so I'll never win. However, being that skinny has many health risks too, my boyfriends…

Every Thursday and Saturday we would go to the bar so that would be a ton of beer and alcohol. The worst part was after we would always get pizza or McDonalds.

I log each item separately. This morning for example I had: 1 cup of strawberries (77cals) small grapefruit (100cals) 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk (30 cals) and isofemme protein powder (115cals) =322 cals They don't really have the correct portions and ingredients on their lists so this is far more accurate.

I plan my meals to equal about 1000 calories a day so that leaves me with 200-300 calories for snacks or unplanned food. Some days I don't even feel hungry enough for the snacks and that leaves me with just my meals. I know this is said to not be healthy but I haven't lost any energy in the month I've been doing this.…
