I honestly wouldn't worry about it. You are eating healthily and if you're not hungry there is no reason to eat more.
-
Is that your calorie goal set by MFP? If you're not hungry or struggling to eat that much/little then I wouldn't worry, as long as it's lower than your BMR.

I was thinking of staring a similar thread yesterday. I really like Hot Chip - One Life Stand. Almost all the tracks are a good fast walk/jogging beat. I found http://jog.fm/ yesterday too which is pretty handy for finding stuff at the right pace for you.

It's pretty innacurate. The calories burned depend too much on you individually to be more than a guide I'm afraid.
-
You'll certainly be burning a lot of calories it looks like. When you don't go to those places, what do you eat instead?
-
I drink a fair bit of green tea. If you like iced tea then that's a good one. You should count anything non-alcoholic that you drink towards your 8 glasses, so you may be getting more than you think if you are not doing so. Diet coke is full of carcinogens and there is a lot of evidence that sweeteners are really bad for…

You are building muscle. It's waaaay heavier than fat. It will also help raise your BMR, making it easier to burn more fat. I'd be happy with that.

It depends how much he has to lose. Starvation mode only happens when you are already low in fat. The body then has to burn muscle instead. If you have plenty of fat to burn, you will not go into starvation mode. I read a really good blog post on MFP recently that explains it and will see if I can find it again. Edit: This…

I second this.

I was the same for the last couple of days, though today I am better. I am wondering if it's something I'm doing too. I've upped my exercise a bit (30 min walk each day) and had some juice today and feel a good bit better. How much exercise and how much sleep have you been getting?

Bump! Good post.

This is why I weigh myself (but don't check in) every day. This way I can see what the actual variance is and the weekly weigh-in doesn't come as a surprise. Instead I can say 'oh, I am actually down since thursday' or whatever.
-
My only suggestion is to try and cut out all sugar for a week or two and see if it helps.

I just came across this after a quick google: http://www.weightwatchers.co.uk/util/art/index_art.aspx?tabnum=1&art_id=38641&sc=808 I don't do any Weight Watchers stuff, but at the end it explicitly states: "The Weight Watchers plan recommends drinking six glasses of fluid a day. All fluids, except alcohol containing…

soup is water plus veg juice is water plus pulp milk is water plus fats why does having a little extra in the water make it suddenly not water? Maybe soup is an extreme, but if you take concentrated juice and use it to flavour water, then count that as water, then why not milk or fresh juice?
-
I do that too, so the calories are correct, but these are still significant volumes of water and so I count them as such as well.
-
Completely up to you :)

The optimal is a 6-24 month old car. Brand new means massive depreciation as soon as you buy it. For more specifics, it depends on the make and model. I wouldn't worry about it until you decide what your budget is, then see what you can get for that.
-
What is it?
-
Mostly on your tummy and lower back. Well done!

Lose the sugar and fat from your diet as much as you can and the weight will drop off. Your body doesn't need to burn any fat stores if they are being replaced by more sugar and fat.
-
I'm at 1200 and it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I can eat 1200 and not be really hungry all day. Remember to drink plenty of water, or green tea if you want a change. I don't drink diet soda because of the sweeteners but if you do then go for it, plus the fizz can help you feel full. Avoid fat and sugar as those…

46-34-44 sounds like a 60s model!
-
I wouldn't worry too much. You are not doing anything unhealthy like starving yourself. Maybe mention it to your doctor if it is a concern.

North Ayrshire :) Wish the website was a bit more international. SC indeed!

Yeah everyone must be different I guess. Any seeds are nice to me, but soy is pretty nasty!

Is Jello not full of sugar? I find if I eat any sugar I can gain easily, especially if I'm not moving around.

If you don't feel hungry and you are getting adequate nutrition, then don't worry about it.
