You can add me, I'm hovering around maintenance right now but I log on every day :)

I have oatmeal and a boiled egg for breakfast, seems to be the only thing that actually holds me over until lunch! For lunch I have leftovers or something easy to put together (salad, yogurt and granola etc). Dinner really varies. I eat a lot of chicken and fish. Usually with a veggie and a starch.

I'm at 116 right now and would like to lose around 3 lbs and then work on gaining some muscle :)
-
If your university was like mine you can look up the menu online in advance. I always planned my meals before going to the dining hall so I would know what I was going to get before I got there. Also, take advantage of the gym facilities on campus! I would always make time to go to the gym whether it was to use the…

I'm 5'4. 34-25-36 a teeny bit pear shaped

I aim for around 1500, but my job has me very active so I usually snack when I get home and end up around 1800-2000

Mines open, add me :)

I would love to have more friends! I've been on myfitnesspal for awhile but never got into having friends to keep me accountable. Feel free to add me :)

I actually lost weight during college. I started using myfitnesspal my freshman year and that helped me make the right decisions at my dining hall and if I knew I was going to be going over my limit I would always make time for the gym. I always would spin while looking over PowerPoint presentations in the morning at the…

I was the same weight about a year ago, and same height! I'm now around 116lbs and about 18% BF and feel so much better. I started incorporating some strength training in with my running and saw a huge difference!

I wouldn't do anything that isn't sustainable! Then when you get to your goal weight you're going to have a hard time adjusting to maintenance

Well carbohydrates are sugars so... complex carbs are good for you! They are slowly digested so they provide energy for longer periods of time. Any of the things you may be thinking of, white eice, white bread, muffins, cake, pasta. All those are high in simple carbohydrates which means it will be converted to sugar very…

I personally don't eat before but it depends how early before you're workout you're eating. Bananas are good for about an hour or 30 min before. Heavier foods like energy bars I can't stomach unless it's 2 hours before
-
Yeah that's a lot of oatmeal, I mean it's good for you and easy but so are a lot of other things like smoothies and eggs!
-
I love spinning! Some people think it makes their legs bulky but that's only if you're eating in excess to gain muscle there. Great booty workout and the classes always play such motivating music to make it fun! I spin in the winter when it's too cold to run outside :)

Every indian dish I've ever ordered was delicious, therefore calories don't matter ;)

I have the charge HR and love it, I've had no problem with the heart rate monitor when running! I like that it doesn't have a chest strap because I go on long runs and would get chafing from that.
-
I have coffee around 1pm otherwise I'm napping by 6!
-
Just got my charge HR yesterday! Add me :) https://www.fitbit.com/user/3H7V25

Maybe you're not getting the right amount of sleep. Every person is different but my sweet spot is around 7 hours. I don't think consuming energy drinks or huge amounts of coffee is going to get you anywhere besides the bathroom...

I have asthma and run all the time, usually my asthma isn't bad when it's hot but when it's chilly though. Just take two puffs before you exercise or ask your doctor to get on a different medication and have the inhaler as a backup in case of emergencies. I assume you're looking to lose weight/ become fitter by being on…

I don't think it's shin splints, unless you're really really pushing yourself. I was in cross country for years and developed the same problem and thought the same thing. Try warming up and stretching the front of your shin by getting on the ground in lunge position and pick up the back leg like you're stretching your…

I run, row, and power walk uphill at a steep incline and I do strength training 2 times a week.
-
I look at the calories, saturated fat content, sodium, sugar and then look at the ingredients.

I would take a break for awhile, shin splints are actually not something you should run through. However you should see if it's not shin splints and just the muscle that runs from your foot to knee. I ran across country and had a big problem with it but once I started stretching and doing some work with resistance bands I…

I'm a college student and I always found time for it! Find friends that like to workout too and you won't have to sacrifice social time. The key is to just DO it, so much that it becomes a habit. Once you realize you can talk yourself out of going to the gym you inevitably will. Another piece of advice is eat healthy at…
