I am in a very similar boat. Started at 252, down to 215 in July. Then back up to 235 and now down to 231. Ultimately goal is to be about 160 but my main goal right now is just to get into the 100's. Feel free to add me.

I love this thread! My small victory is that I made an effort everyday to walk up and down the stairs a few times during my lunch break just to get in additional activity. Even though it made me feel tremendously out of shape I did it and so glad that I was able to accomplish it 5 days in a row.

I love reading everyone's mini goals. I have a few:* Complete my own 21 day arm challenge * Being able to run for 5 minutes straight * Lose 8 pounds by Feb. 21st * Get out of the obese category and into the overweight category (This one is actually really hard. I need to lose 30 pounds)

Personally, I haven't had that experience yet, but I can't wait to have it. Hearing all of your stories is so motivating! Congrats OP you look fabulous!

I'm in the same boat. Started at about 250 and am currently fluctuating between 230 and 229. Feel free to add me! Good luck!

I'm not sure how, but it would be nice, if someone could create a Group under the Groups tab. It would be an easy way to monitor post and encourage each other.

I have a lot more than 20 lbs to lose, but I would love to be 20 pounds lighter by the end of October. I'm in. Feel free to add me!

Wow!! All of you look fabulous! I've only lost about 12 pounds so not much of a visible difference yet, but I cant wait to be able to post my during pictures!

My official weigh day is Monday morning, helps me keep myself in check over the weekend. I do weigh everyday though just out of pure curiosity. I don't let the fluctuations everyday get me off track so far its been working for me.

I'm feeling pretty good about this challenge but still have a long way to 20 pounds lost. As of my weigh in this morning I'm down 6.2 pounds since beginning of June and 8.2 pounds since May. I hope I can keep up the good work and loss 20 by time summer ends! Hope everyone else is doing well with this!

I should do measurements as I know the scale lies! Its going to sound really weird, but I am kind of scared that I will measure inaccurately. Or maybe more so that I won't measure the same way twice. Does that make sense? Lol lots of new things to learn on this journey!

Thank you for your feedback! I have been doing some work in the gym and walking once a week at lunch, but I have not been logging this as I do not know currently how many calories I am actually burning. I ordered a Polar FT4 HRM and am waiting for it too be delivered either tomorrow or Monday. Once I get this I plan on…

You can do this, we can do this together!

I'm with ya! My ticker says 50 pounds to lose but thats just my first goal, my ultimate goal is somewhere closer to 110 pounds. It can be daunting, but I keep telling myself that every pound down is one step closer to my goal. One pound at a time.

I am very new to this and I have much much more to lose overall, but have lost almost 5 pounds this month. 20 pounds over the summer seams like a good goal though. I think I will aim for it.
