Hi there, Oats are great for stabilising blood sugar levels. You could try starting your day with a bowl of porridge made from natural oats, sweetened with, say, berries rather than sugar. You could also try eating little and often. Are you eating tons of fruit?

I march in the living room, run on the spot and do basic aerobics moves eg 'box steps' whilst watching TV or a movie or you could put great music on. I just set the timer and start off with a few stretches and then march away. As I'm starting to feel much fitter I've begun incorporating the on-the-spot jogging. I usually…

Wholemeal toast or english muffin spread with peanut butter and banana makes a damn fine sandwich. Makes a quick and yummy breakfast :)

Hi, feel free to add me (I'm from the UK by the way). I've been using the site since April, but after losing an initial half a stone fairly quickly, I've been on an early plateau for the last two months myself. Would be great to have another friend for mutual encouragement and support. Best of luck for your journey :)

Feel free to add me (I'm from the UK by the way). I only have a few friends on here so far, so would be great to have another. We can support and encourage each other. A warm welcome to you. MFP is a fantastic site. Best of luck with your journey.

Congratulations. Can highly recommend Canada and the Rocky Mountains, particularly Lake Louise. The mountain scenery is just awesome...blue sky, towering trees and majestic mountains....what could be more romantic!

Could well be because your system is de-toxing if you're eating a lot more fruit and veg and drinking more water. Keep up with drinking the water.

Hi, feel free to add me (I'm from the UK by the way). You're clearly a determined lady and are looking great. Hope you won't mind me saying but along with the weight you've lost you also looks years younger. I've been off track for a few days since having a bout of flu but I'm back on the case again from today (trying for…

Hello from England Ed. I'm just recovering from a bout of flu and this really cheered me up and made me smile this morning. You've reminded me it is important for us to count our blessings every day. Thanks for spreading your happiness and positivity. All the best to you. x

Hi hon, Happy to be your friend and provide you with some motivation and hopefully vice versa. I'm from the UK and have been on here since April. Just gained a couple of pounds myself after a short break in North Wales so I'm increasing the old exercise to try to get that back off again. How about getting cracking again…

Well done. That's fantastic news. x

Hi, I've just read your message and have so much sympathy with you. What an appalling way for Ben to behave. I completely agree with you that Ben's comments are inappropriate and disrespectful and he doesn't seem to have any comprehension of the boundaries of social acceptability. I do wonder what your husband gets out of…

Welcome and best of luck to you (I'm new myself...almost finished my first week). People seem to be having great results with MFP and I've also lost some this week. Seems to be a very supporting community on here. All the best on your journey. x

I would say 'Don't Stop Me Now' by Queen...good rythym for jogging and a really energising song. Also...really corny but would be a good laugh to have the Rocky theme tune...you'll have the biggest smile while you're running then! Good luck with the exercise.
