wow I feel his pain. I have those same problems but they have never offered me that surgery. Please let us know how he is doing afterwards.

I agree!!! I have a bad back and started swimming in the mornings before work. Though I dont like to get up any earlier than I have to I have managed to get out of bed every morning before work and go and it has really made my day better as well as made my back feel better!!
