272 day streak and counting, logging food daily. Happy to have more friends!

Open food diary = transparency. Anyone similar is free to add me. TGIF!

^^ Great post, and I've done very much the same for myself. I also look for foods naturally high in potassium. If you fill you day with foods like that, you're also cutting way back on sodium.

Agreed! Happy birthday!

When I first started using the app, I would eat my weekend meals with my phone in my hand to get used to the fact that I needed to log the bites I was putting in my mouth. If I was out or was short on time, I took a picture of my meal then logged it when I had a few extra minutes. After a month or so, logging my meals just…

Hello - 42 here! I've lost close to 40 pounds, with 60 more to go before this journey is done. Anyone can add me if they'd like.

Getting fitted at your neighborhood running store is definitely step 1. I use Brooks Ghost 7. Great for my running style and arch support.

I know what you mean. Friend request is on it's way....

Fantastic progress! Well done!

^^ So much of this! ^^ I like being in pictures again, rather than just taking them. I became a runner, too!? I'm 6' 5" so while seats at the hockey rink are never going to be great for me, I don't feel like I'm overflowing into the seats on either side of me now. Oh - and no more snoring!

Walking and running. I get to shut out the world and focus on me and my music. Clears my head and puts me in a great mood. Talking with other runners keeps it fresh and looking forward to running in races next Spring is the motivator.

This was a great article to read. I'm curious what PF Changs does to spinach to make it 120 calories!? Calling Paula Deen and her butter wagon!!

Hi Ginger - walking is the source, for sure! Walking (and now jogging/running) is my main source of exercise. Congrats!!

<--- Not a fair weather food logger. Planning a great Christmas Eve and Christmas day run, too.
-
Absolutely! I love digging through the record bins - one of these days I hope to find an original pressing of 'Pet Sounds'. Great vintage glassware, too. And every now and then - clothing!

I found that walking is the source for me. I've been walking every day for the past six months. As a result of moving more and tracking my calories, I've lost 37 pounds. My walking has now evolved into jogging/running, both on the treadmill and on trails. I'm hooked! For me, it's the be "me time"!

Amazing work by everyone!!! You are all inspirational! I'm 37 pounds less than when I started, 60 to go. Onward!
