Hey there. I, too, am a mother of 3 (6, 3, and 2) and 32 years old. THis is what I have found... I am too busy NOT to work out. For me to be the mom I need to be, the wife I need to be, etc., I have to be a more healthy person. I found a gym locally that has childcare, and so I am able to take the kids with me when I go.…

Perfect! Thank you everyone! I have 23 weeks until the mini marathon, so I will have to train for a 5K, then 10K to get ready. There are plenty of those races around, so I will not have any trouble finding one to run. So scary to think about it, though. I will have to believe in myself more than I ever have, I think!

Thank you to everyone who has posted so far! Some really good ideas.... Today I didn't eat prior to my workout and just had a protein smoothie post-workout. Hopefully, keeping this food journal will help me keep my eating habits on a more conscious level.
