Thanks! I will look the next time I am at the grocery store.

The chili and sloppy joes sound good! But...and nobody laugh...what is a lentil and where do you find them?

I am right there with you on not eating enough calories. I am supposed to eat 1200 (plus whatever calories added after running) and I do usually eat right about there, but the days that I run I don't eat nearly enough! My weight loss is not great-it has stalled out as a result. I know it is hard to workout when you work…

Thanks for letting me know! My sister is also using MFP and has upped her calories and gained a few pounds. She freaked out but I really think this is the case because she was not eating enough before. I am going to try the same thing.

Thanks for the suggestions! When I make stir fry I don't cook with any oil or butter so the only fat was from the shrimp :)

I will find the shakes, thanks! My running has not been great lately-by the time I finish I am shaking and feeling sick. A good friend who has run several marathons told me that I am not eating enough protein so I knew this is something I need to work on. Thanks!

I have been wondering about this. I know that my body fat ratio is low and that I am a healthy weight-I just know that I could also do better and be better. I don't know how I could eat less so I was wondering if I am eating not enough on some days. The weekends I do "cheat" more because I run longer and I know that I need…

My workout routine has to stay the same because I am getting ready for a half marathon. I also do strength training 2 mornings a week. I have two off days and I don't do anything on those days. I am wondering if I should do something on those days? In the past week I have gone over my calories twice-but not by too much.…

I changed my settings. Thanks!

I would eat something more substantial than the whole wheat bread before you work out. Add peanut butter to it or some nutella. You could also use the entire egg instead of just the egg whites from breakfast-the extra protein is good for you after you work out. I used to be a teller so I understand that you can't snack…

I will grill a bunch of chicken on Sunday night with whatever seasoning I am in the mood for. I eat it for dinner Sunday and then use it during the week in wraps or on a salad. With fat free dressings, tons of veggies, and low carb wraps you can still eat low cal and feel satisfied. I also make taco salads with just…

I am also training for a half marathon and I will have a great run and then have a horrible one. I would take a day to rest, drink a lot of water, and if you do workout just do pilates or yoga. I would just accept it as a bad run and keep trying. Once you can run 8 you can get to 13! If this keeps happening I would get a…

I am not glad that you are struggling but I am glad to hear that I am not alone in it! I bought the book "The Runner's Diet" and I am hoping that helps my snacking back under control. I am a stay at home mom and have never struggled with overeating before but suddenly I am in that rut. I think drinking more water will…

Thanks! I am seriously hungry ALL the time. Right now I am snacking on baby carrots, hummus and rice cakes, yogurt, blue berries, pretzels, popcorn...and the list goes on. My problem is that I am eating ALL the time and I just need to force myself to stop :)

I have 3 children and have had 3 c sections. My stomach is flat again and my youngest is 18 months old. The most important thing to remember is that you must do cardio to burn the fat, and then strength training to tone the muscles underneath. Pilates is great for this! I would have your ob look at your stomach muscles and…

For me personally, I wouldn't log it in as calories burned. I would just go about eating less calories and working out as usual and count those calories as burned.
