"I can do this! I can do this! Come on, you owe this to your body! I'm so lucky to have this great body that can do so many things, so I have to treat it right!" Kind of corny, I guess, but it helps. Or I sing a song in my head.

Heya! I decided to take my rest a day early because Thursday is my busiest day, so I didn't have anything to report yesterday. Today I did Plyometric Cardio Circuit... ugh. I think it's the hardest one! The ins and outs at the end... ugh. I got through it, but I was moving a lot slower than the rest of them! How did you…

I'm not surprised! I have never felt anything like that burn in my legs before! I'm so glad to hear it gets better. Major sighs of relief right here!

Hi! I'm doing Insanity right now! I'm posting in another thread too, but hey - the more the merrier, right? Today I did Day 5/workout 4 - Pure Cardio. It was good! I feel amazing after these workouts, I don't know how I used to get through the day without them! I just hope I'll be able to keep it up when school starts…

Well, I don't know if it's harder, really, but it's just not my preferred type of workout. Congrats on completing workout two! And high five for not taking extra breaks! I did Pure Cardio today... there are no water breaks in the main 15-minute workout, so you just take 'em as you need 'em. I managed to keep going for most…

Wow, congrats! What's PT 24/7? Today I did Insanity Day Four, Cardio Recovery. It was sort of... pilates-y, I guess? I don't know. 32 minutes long. :) Plus I did a lot of walking around campus and to a friend's house.

I had the same experience with the first workout! I was fine until those number one drills... ugh. Today I did Cardio Recovery! I actually found it harder in some respects... I prefer short bursts of different activities over holding a position for a long time. There was a point when my legs burned so badly they actually…

Wow, you two both had amazing results on your fitness tests! High fives! And skinnyinnotime, I totally agree with you on the mirrors thing! Of course, I wouldn't be thrilled to see the big tomato that is my exercise face, but it would really help with keeping form.

I'll quote from my fitness diary, because it captures the moment pretty well: Workout one: "Before: Super nervous! But all I have to do is make it through 40 minutes! I can do it! After: OH MY GOD NO I CAN'T. NO HEY NEVERMIND I DID IT. I took a break in the middle but still!" Workout two: "Before: So sore! But I will do my…

Did the first workout for Insanity yesterday and the second one today. The name is fitting. @_@

I can really see a difference in your glutes and upper thighs! Much perkier, hahah! :) This really shows that there's no point in being chained to the scale!
-
Wow, congrats! That shows awesome dedication. :)

Whoops, forgot to post yesterday! I did the fitness test for Insanity (which has made me really nervous about what the actually workouts will be like), and then just miscellaneous active-y things (walking to run errands, biking to a friend's house, bouncing on a trampoline...) Didn't eat that well at the end of the day…

I did the fitness test yesterday! Is it okay if I post here even if I'm a couple days ahead? Also, I'm kind of worried about doing this in an apartment. I know my downstairs neighbour and he teases me about my exercise being loud... I hope it's just teasing and he's not actually annoyed.

Tell your son you want to run with him! It's easy to say, "I'll start running soon," but as soon as you go and tell someone important to you that you're going to start, you feel obligated to actually go out and do it. Before I started running, I was terrified of the idea of people seeing me outside running... I was worried…

Wow, amazing progress! Very inspiring. :) How long have you been at it?
-
Give it a shot! If your headache gets worse, walk home. If it gets better, awesome! Either way, you're spending more of your time active. :)
-
This is an awesome idea for a thread! I haven't done my activity yet today, but I'm posting so that I can find this later. :) I'll edit this post after I'm done.

This has restored my faith in humanity. If non-fat cheese is possible, anything is!

You're strong, you can keep control! If you can break all your life habits to lose 70 lbs, you can do anything. Just keep healthy food in the house and do your best to keep yourself distracted from eating... read a book, go for a walk, watch a movie, hang out with friends, call your family. Maybe put some "Then and Now"…

No one will think less of you! <3 It does seem logical! As soon as I'm done, I realize what a mistake I've made... but at the time, it just seems like a way to "have my cake and eat it too," so to speak. Thank you so much for sharing. Even though I wish no one had to go through an eating disorder, it helps to know that…

Ooh, I'm twenty! :D I'd love to join the challenge if you have room! I don't really have to lose much weight... I'm just trying to get in shape and learn to eat well and guilt-free. Is that okay? Height: 5'3" (and small-framed) CW: 120 lbs GW: 113 lbs Goal: Run 5k three times a week, start logging faithfully, develop…

You're so sweet! *hugs* Thank you so much! <3

I don't want to rely on laxatives, though... I'd rather stop binging (and stop feeling guilty for my slip-ups) and deal with the root of the problem. I do need to learn to distract myself, though. Thanks for responding! "Guilt gremlin," that's cute! Thanks, you made me feel a lot better. And I do like my teeth!

Thanks everyone! <3 ...Huh. I need to research the condition more. Ooh, a dietician, that's a great idea! Thanks for responding! :)

Thanks everyone for responding! This community is amazing. <3 @Rhiannagreene: Thanks for the advice! And I am so with you on the eating-when-bored thing. Is there any specific low-calorie food you'd recommend? :)

Thanks for responding! I have an appointment in a week. :) edit; Sorry for the double post, my internet is being wonky today.

Welcome! I'm originally from Smithers, now living in Victoria! :)

Run 5k at least three times a week, stop binging (which means no more peanut butter!).
