You look like a catalog model in the After pic. Beautiful! :)

What a beautiful story. You really are a very strong woman despite all of the sadness you have encountered.

I bought a Nutribullet in January and love it. I had a Ninja Master Prep Pro (I understand there are different models of Ninja's) and the Nutribullet works way better. The Ninja blades got really dull over time. I was shocked at the difference in texture when I used the Nutribullet the first time, it was so much smoother.…

I tried Plexus and it did not do anything for me. HOWEVER, they do have a money back guarantee, so I called their customer service number and was able to get reimbursed the full price so at least I wasn't out anything.

+1. Especially to knowing yourself and listening to your body. I've been doing CF for a year. Have met nobody who suffered from Rhabdo and, in fact, have yet to witness anybody puke. I just attended (watched) a CF competition last weekend with about 200 entrants, too (nobody puked, at least not that I saw). CF is not the…

I was using WOD but our box is in transition to beyond the whiteboard (AWESOME).

One of the guys in my box was out with a knee injury for months (soccer injury). He still came and did alternate stuff when he couldn't participate. He ended up mastering muscle ups and is now a coach. Definitely go but modify. ????

But wasn't that post in this group?...

You look fantastic! I would not have guessed you anywhere near 200; more like 175. :)

Ouch!

Agree!

Wow that looks very tasty! Thanks so much for sharing!

Yeah that sounds like tennis elbow to me. I suffered from this a few years ago. Went through physical therapy for it, but I still steer clear of any type of exercises that strain this part - primarily lateral or front raises. I don't do these at all anymore! ETA: depending on how long you've been dealing with it, it could…

Green tea is only effective at aiding fat loss if you are following a low carb diet. Here is some good reading: http://blog.metaboliceffect.com/2012/10/30/can-you-burn-cellulite/

I've had mine almost a year and a half and still wear it every day. I love it and would definitely recommend it. You can set goals to hit step counts, calorie burns, or overall activity level for each day. And it is definitely NOT water friendly!

I've had mine almost 18 months and haven't missed a day wearing it, I love it. I do still wear a HRM for exercise and log that on MFP. I love the fact that the two sites are now integrated so I don't have to "double log" anymore. :P My first one cracked and they replaced it at no charge. EXCELLENT customer service!

It really depends on your coordination. I am super UNcoordinated and found Turbo Jam much easier to follow. Turbo Fire is like a jacked up (faster) version of Turbo Jam. They're both good but if you struggle with coordination, I'd suggest starting with TJ to learn the moves first. ETA: these were my favorite TJ videos:…

That doesn't include a chest strap....don't waste your money.

If you purchased from Beachbody, they will replace a broken disc at no cost. Open a ticket on their website.

Great abs are made in the kitchen.

No they are rough on your knees. You'd be better served by just walking more, or faster. A weighted vest is a better option than ankle weights. Good luck!

Metabolic Effect has a book that includes the whole nutrition and workout program, you can get it from Amazon for roughly $12. I am doing their workout and diet now. I learned SO much reading that book and as a previous poster said, I believe I am insulin resistant and working on getting my hormones back in balance so that…

I've had a Fitbit for over a year and never regretted my purchase; I still wear it every day. They have FANTASTIC customer service. I got mine replaced last summer because it cracked, at no cost. Btw I do not wear mine clipped to clothing. I used to wear it clipped to my bra and I think this is what caused the crack (some…

Just so you know, there are 2 different types of chest straps made by Polar. I don't know which comes standard with the FT7, but the Wear Link transmitter is coded so that your HR does not display on other machines around you at the gym. The T31 is the standard chest strap, and sounds like it must be what your HRM came…

I've had a Fitbit for a little over a year. Just a few things I wanted to add. (I love mine also). 1) I no longer use the wrist band to wear mine to bed, I couldn't keep it from falling out. I clip mine to my nightgown. 2) After prolonged use, the Fitbit does wear down and crack in the middle (this is a common problem for…

I've had one since January and still wear it every day. They have a very robust website at no cost, but I did upgrade to the premium membership for $50/year. As part of premium membership, there is a 12 week challenge that works your activity level up slowly over that period of time to move you to the next level of…

I have been doing HIIT for 4-5 years and you are right, the initial calorie burn you see on your HRM will be less. The difference is that the afterburn from HIIT can last up up to 24 hours afterward. With regular cardio, there is no afterburn effect. You can do HIIT with just about anything (or even nothing, just using…

Another Chobani fan here. Fage is also good, but Chobani is my favorite. The mainstream brands (Yoplait and Dannon) are nothing like Chobani.

I used birth control (including Loestrin) for years with no troubles. I opted for the Paragard when my daughter was just a few months old because I was still nursing and wanted something non-hormonal. HATED IT. My periods were AWFUL, I was bleeding through a super plus tampon in less than an hour for the first day of my…

I have a 2.5 year old and go to the gym at 5am while she and DH are still sleeping. I meet a friend (who has a boy the same age) so this is kind of our "girl time.". We lift 3x per week (currently doing New Rules of Lifting for Women) and do interval training 2x per week.
