its set at 1200 but going to change it to 1500. u don't have to change your values or starve. tinned kidney beans are really cheap and make nice vegan chilli or puree them make nice high protein mash. u cud post cheap vegan food question in another forum if u cant afford much. get a run tracking app n start brisk walk it will give u all the stats then go from there.
