Yeah I don't think OP really wants help... There's tons of good advice already but it seems that she is all wrapped up in her head, thinking she was fat when I'm sure, no one meant to say that. Which is a common symptom of people with eating disorders. That and when people says "End of story," their mind is already made up…

Eat a large breakfast. Eat a meal just before you go; heck, even eat something while in your car. Just don't allow yourself to get hungry, go to the event and look for the highest calorie foods. Alternatively you can just save all of your calories for the event and just enjoy yourself. That or if you trust yourself, find…

Oatmeal, yogurt, smoothies... Sprinkle a little on rice, a little on your desserts, a little in stews, a little here and there. It adds up and so will the benefits. :)

Maybe count every other week or even every other two weeks. And in between those weeks, try to eyeball/portion things out in your head and eat sensibly---eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full. Count only to keep you on tract of your goals; perhaps that will lessen the pressure?

Chicken and brown rice soup. :D Tomorrow, it's gonna be chicken and daikon radish soup. Next week, it's going to be a veggie, bean, and liver stew. ;D :D

Good for you for keeping to your goals! Well, when my mom saw that I was getting slimmer, she randomly buys me desserts and brings home pizza from work. At one point, she asked me to bake her a chocolate cake for the family to eat and she went out and bought pistachio ice cream for it. I had one tiny piece of the cake but…

Moto X. I got it January of this year. Before, I had an ancient samsung flip phone. I'm not much of a phone person... All I use my moto is for texting (occasionally), business phone calls (rare), MFP app, gps, grocery app, calendar, and notes. Oh and the internet when I'm away from home.

Veggie and Bean chili/stews. Just get a bunch of different canned beans, drain/wash them. Dump in a slow cooker with some tomato sauce/paste, veggie broth, chopped carrots, potatoes, celery, peas, any veggie you like; add spices (ie. chili powder), salt/pepper and/or sugar and then cook on high for 2 hours or on low for…

My boss told me to stop losing weight when he found out I was having jogging sessions before work. He said this while munching on a peanut butter cookie. ... I told him I didn't want to lose a lot of weight; I just wanted to get back into shape. A lot of people seem to think exercise and eating healthy is for…

For breakfast, I usually plan/prepare the night before. Mostly it's a combination of overnight oatmeal, smoothies, yogurt parfaits, leftover dinner/lunch, or a breakfast wrap. For lunch at work, I cook 1-2 batches of a main meals during the weekends; things like curries, stews, meats and side vegetables. For treats, I have…

Hey this is very interesting stuff!! Thanks for posting. :) My nutrition professor told me the same thing and that he suspects our gut might have a lot more to do with our health than we realized. ETA: My older brother while growing up, despite eating a diet high in junk food and calories, remained very tiny and thin. It…

A summer sandwich... Sprouted grain bread toasted with beefsteak tomato slices, avocado, mayonnaise, salt&pepper. Also a side of sliced Korean summer melons. Definitely screams summer. :)

Once people achieve a certain goal, sometimes they end up with a "now what?" type of thinking. I'm assuming you've accomplished your weight loss goals and now that you're maintaining, you feel stuck as though you don't have a goal to work towards anymore but at the same time, is afraid of reverting back to the old you.…

Fat keeps me full better than protein... I only had a portion of cheese, nuts, and a tortilla for lunch one day and that kept me satisfied for a good 6 hours until dinner. Same idea for breakfast.
