  • I have so many weaknesses so I just try to avoid all together or find the healthiest substitutions. Definitely any type of asian food (esp sushi rolls....just discovered a place that does riceless rolls!), mexican food for sure, & chocolate covered pretzels. Thankfully most fruit will satisfy my sweet craving (esp a baked…

  • I'm getting married October 2013 and my best friend is June 2013 (so in 1 year!). I wanna hit my goal by my best friend's wedding then spend the remaining time focusing more on strength training and getting nice and toned for my big day.
  • Two Siberian Huskies - Nova and Comet One Chihuahua - Martini (Tini for short) And an older Dalmation Mutt- Snoopy :) love my babies.
  • I usually go in the morning (anywhere from 8-10 depending on the day and when I have work). 3 days a week I abs and major strength training before my cardio so I'm there for about an hour and a half. The other two days (I go 5 times on a really good week. But at least 4 normally) I spend about an hour doing abs/cardio. I…
  • ^^both of these! Then add in some black & white bangles. Maybe a white headband too.
  • It took me a long time to realize what was best for my body. If you're looking to revamp your diet try cutting out most processed foods. Rather than doing a quick cleanse, just make a big step towards more vitamin rich and protien filled foods. My diet is 90% filled with fruits, yogurt, and steel cut oats for breakfast,…
  • Part of me wishes my fiance knew me when I was really suffering 3 years ago. Its hard for him to understand me most of the time - with PTSD I have flashbacks, get scared for no reason, or freak out. Every year around my trauma I call out of work and stay in bed and can't face the world. He doesn't understand how one day I…
  • I was hospitalized once. I have PTSD and it was about 8 months after the trauma occured. Over the months I fell deeper and deeper into depression, I developed insolmnia, and I wasn't leaving my room. After a month of not attending any of my classes, the insomnia got a lot worse. I hadn't slept for 5 straight days and I…
  • I have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and I am Manic Depressive - this has also caused me to have major anxiety and insomnia. I was on medication for almost 2 years & I spent some time in a facility. But a year and a half ago I was taken off my medication very slowly. Now I used exercise to battle all of this on my…
  • My ex once said to me "You'd be so gorgeous if you could just manage to lose like...5 or 10 pounds." I was really shocked...considering he had man boobs bigger than my own. But hey, I never made him feel bad about it because I fell in love with who he was - not who I thought I could turn him into. Oh well. Now I have a guy…

  • Most people lose weight in their hands, wrists, and face first! Its the "problem areas" that take longer to lose weight in. The same thing happened to me. It's also why people tell me "You're too thin! Stop losing weight!" But that's only because my face and hands are really skinny now....my tummy still needs work haha.
  • Skinny Margaritas!! 100 cals and so very yummy.
  • If you're doing all of that most of the time then you are definitely lightly active. You can keep your calories the same if you want - 100 to 200 calories isn't going to make a lot of difference. I'm Very Active and keep it at 1300 cals per day. As long as you get out and move around, you're lightly active. Especially now…
  • Honestly, I don't think cashiering would qualify to up your calories at all. What do you do on your days off?
  • I'm definitely the type of person that needs the gym atmosphere - I'm too distracted at home! Most gyms will give you a few days as a free trial - I suggest doing that with as many gyms in your area (you could get as much as 2 months free out of it if you go from gym to gym each week haha). That way you'll know if it works…
  • That sounds pretty tasty to me and definitely on the healthy side of things! If you want to fit that into your day, definitely do it! As everyone said above, drink a lot of water too! Go to the gym or take a long walk to burn some calories and you'll find the scale back down in no time :)
  • It sounds like its time to intensify your workouts if you want to keep losing weight. Its great that your feeling more comfortable working out but you should push yourself a little bit harder and switch it up when this happens. Once you do, you should break out of your plateau! Congrats on your progress though! I'm…
  • If I'm working out first thing in the morning I usually eat a hard boiled egg white before I head to the gym. But if I'm working out mid-day I wait about an hour before I leave for the gym and make sure to have a piece of fruit/protein bar in my bag for after because I know I need it.
  • Have you ever considered the Birdseye Steamables? The veggies are really good and now they also have stir-fry and rice packages too. Very filled and a better alternative :)
  • Yes, please!
  • Bump! Love this
  • I felt the SAME way - but the book really is so much more. The characters are really compelling and the story line is very deep. I was pleased with the entire thing. Looking forward to seeing how everything is portrayed on film! And this doesn't give anything away but 90% of the characters also find the idea of kids…
  • Love cottage cheese! I eat mine with strawberries and cantaloupe & sprinkle chia seeds or flax seeds on top. Very healthy snack/breakfast! Great post workout.
  • Chicken parm is always yummy and one of my favorites! Very easy to make from scratch too - get some chicken breast, Italian seasoned bread crumbs, eggs (or egg whites), canned tomato, and reg or low fat mozzarella sprinkled on top! You can pair it with steamed veggies easily and put some rolls out if he wants to turn it…
  • I usually bake some peaches with cinnamon and eat them with cool whip - tastes like peach cobbler! Or I put a little peanut butter on a rice cake and drizzle chocolate syrup on it - I crave PB & Chocolate like crazy. This usually ends up being around 120 calories depending on brand/how much peanut butter I end up using.
  • I can't say I'd be thrilled...but if my fiance and his buddies were all going for a guy's night out, I'd wouldn't mind. I'd rather him go out for one night of harmless fun than "forbid" him and us fight all night. But if he went out by himself all the time to a club then I'd have an issue (because then clearly he wants…
  • You can definitely adjust your calories. Go to goals - customize yourself - and in there you can manually adjust! I've done this a few times.
