  • Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. That last comment was rather mean and unnecessary. What was the point of being unkind for the heck of it?
  • Lol, true, but it means Cat in Maltese :-) I am half Maltese and Half Jamaican. If you got either I would have hailed you as the next genius... or psychic! x
  • There is nothing wrong with plain tap water - it's just that it gets boring to drink. It would be like eating the same meal everyday... variety keeps things vibrant and interesting!
  • I'm always on the lookout for more motivational people, please feel free to add me too! x
  • Frozen berries blended with a spoon of yoghurt and some almond milk. Under 100 calories for a decent bowl size! I sweeten mine with 0 cal Stevia. I actually prefer it to ice cream. x
  • Whoops, that's embarrassing! I once had a friend who poked me in the ribs when I was lifting with a barbell. I almost (unintentionally) killed her as my body instinctively swung around and swung the weights with it. The same (ex) friend came up to my threadmill whilst I was sprinting at my utmost and she hit the emergency…
  • Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! I am totally using that next time. I've only just started weight training and work in the military. So when I go to the gym with all th military guys they make fun of me something chronic. So.... thanks for that one, I will use it on the next one that irritates me!
  • Wow, if there is any advice I would listen to, it's the above. Can't say fairer than that.
  • I wish more women did lifting. I always get looked at like I am a right wierdo when I go into the gym for a strength training session. Invariably I am the only girl there.
  • I am half Maltese and half Jamaican and currently living in Scotland!
  • Love it!!! I have starting my weight training, and enjoy every moment of it! Brilliant! x
  • I did IF (Intermittent Fasting) a lot and had a lot of success with it. Generally i would do it once or twice a week. I stopped after surgery as I stayed at home a lot (I generally need to be busy to do IF). There is a group on here called, funnily enough, Intermittent Fasting. They will offer a wealth of advice and you…
  • Oh goodness, I feel your pain! Ha ha, I am in the same boat! I live with two boys who eat the house out of food every week and work with a group of people who drink like it's going out of fashion! They all think I am weird when I refuse the (2nd) slice of cake, or have a spritzer as it's less calorific. Feel free to add…
  • I am doing meal replacement meals - not just the shakes. At the moment I have a sneaking suspicion that the implant has caused me to gain weight (sorry if tmi) and my doc told me that the plan I have been following has helped me maintain my current weight rather than pile on to it. Anyway, I tend to have a soup or…
  • I was on the mirena coil for two years. The good points was that it reduced cramping and endometriosis effects. The bad thing was it was not placed in properly and pinched towards the left side. Everytime I came towards my ovulation days, my pain was so bad that I literally passed out in agony. Now, I am no kitten when it…
  • I'm a black girl brought up in a white country - Malta, and now live in Scotland surrounded by very pale people! My boyfriend is nicknamed The Milkybar Kid. Blonde, blue eyes, gorgeous smile. I can't believe other people say he is plain looking when to me he is GORGEOUS. So called friends tried to break me up to date…
  • I'm in Week 3 of Insanity and would like to do TurboFire next! I started P90X last year but got ill and hospitalised... so that never continued! As soon as I got better though I started Insanity, which was insane (excuse the pun) because I went from doing no exercise whatsoever for a year to Insanity immediately! I…
  • The thing I find the most sexy in a man is a lack of arrogance. You know the arrogant guy, the one who ASSUMES that women will want him because he works out and has ripped muscles. I meet plenty of men like that in the military and it is an immediate turn off. The rumour starts that I am into women because I don't fancy…
  • Ohhhhhhh yum!
  • Hi everyone, feel free to add me too! I am constantly on this site - despite my numerous VERY NAUGHTY DAYS, I am quite dedicated really.
  • That really is amazing and inspirational! You go girl, you are looking terrific and proud! Your efforts in just one year show the hard work and dedication you have put into this mission. Oh and I looooove the colour of your hair in your profile pic! :flowerforyou:
  • Feel free to add me too ladies, I am now a constant on this site! :flowerforyou:
  • So how has it been going for you so far? x
  • Conrad Humphreys! http://www.cityspeakersinternational.co.uk/TM_content/site_1/uploads/conrad_humphreys/578-ConradHumphreys.jpg
  • @Dark Nebula - You have such a beautiful and unique look. I am totally stumped for a celebrity that looks like you and all I can think of is Ariel, little Mermaid! :-) Stevewynjones... omg, totally Russell Crowe. It's the eyes.
  • When people present that symptom, it is generally a dip in blood pressure or sugar levels. If your calorie intake was low, I would hazard a guess that you have low blood sugar levels. Blood pressure can also take a natural dip when we are at resting, and suddenly standing up can get a rush of blood to our brain, making us…
  • I've started doing Insanity too and my scales have not budged a mm. However I am feeling fitter and stronger. As someone mentioned before, your muscles will literally rip and take their time to repair themselves. You just wait until your muscles are stronger and leaner - they will be eating up calories like nobody's…
  • Ha ha ha ha, love it! That's the best way - turn a negative to something positive and whilst on the threadmill imagine running right over the low-life loser.
