  • Hi, My name is Nicole. I am 28 years old and. I have been living with with chronic plantar fasciitis for over 4 years now. It started after running a marathon in February of 2016. I have tried every treatment and emerging treatment for my condition. This year in January I finally had surgery. I was supposed to be "cured"…
  • I completely agree. I hope one day we will all be pain free. <3 I can't remember a pain free day for years. Somedays the pain is small and somedays its a lot, but its always there. I hope that one day I will be cured and be able to run again.

  • Met my goal of 30+ minutes of exercise everyday. Plus I invested in a row machine so I can still get cardio in when my foot is hurting too much. It's a really good full body workout. I live with chronic plantar fasciitis. In the past few years its ranged from at its best slight pain everyday, to at its worse disabling pain…

  • I go by net carbs. I think that's probably what most people do? If you're new especially I think that would probably be the easier route. But when you log just double check the food listings. I noticed some list "net carbs" for carbs, but they still include the fiber, so in those instances you can't subtract that fiber…
  • You will have to ask your doctor to know what he meant. Please give us an update when you hear back. I'm curious why they would say you need a week off every month.

  • I love veggies, I'm growing a garden this year with all different kinds. I'm currently restricting some veggies high in carbs like beans, corn, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and also most fruits because I'm doing keto. When I was on a liberal low carb diet I would budget almost everything in. I don't know if I can do keto long…
  • Keto cheesecake. Topped with lemon whipped cream "frosting" and garnished with a homegrown strawberry.

Had a massive debilitating headache that started mid day, worsened at night and lasted through the following morning. Went away after breakfast. Not sure if keto flu? Thankfully…
  • I see... Keto is low carb + high fat (not really "high protein"). I'm in the reverse situation where I'm doing keto and my boyfriend is not. You can still make the core part of the meal work for both of you, and then make minor accommodations for each of you. For example you could cook meatballs and then make pasta for…

  • You could cook any lean meat or a protein powder? But why? Why would you only want to eat only lean proteins? You would burn out pretty quickly I would think. Low carb + High protein + Low fat don't usually go together. Fats are not bad for you. High fat + Low carb + Moderate protein would be a better option. Protein only…
  • This is my first time trying full keto, I was doing low carb/high fat before, but I got off track the last several months and gained weight. I'm trying keto to get back into shape and get back off carbs. I like setting these daily goals you can control rather than monthly weight loss goals. July Goals: 1) Log food everyday…

  • I would highly recommend https://www.wholesomeyum.com/ I've made a lot of her different dinner and dessert recipes. I've purchased her cookbook as well, but she has so many recipes free on her website. Most of them came out really good. Check it out.

  • Is it ok to start IF and keto at the same time? Or is better to start keto then start integrating IF into the mix?
  • I'm not jumping in late for this month. I'm jumping in early for next month. Lol. Today - Starting up low carb again with keto meal plans and a grocery list. I wanted to finish up some passion fruit juice so today probably won't be a keto day but the rest of the day I'll try to stick to it for my meals. They always say…
