its hard to say with knee injuries exactly the extent of them, but rest and ice will help. also, do you stretch after each run? make stretching a routine that is PART of the run...and congratulations on reaching the end of c25k! hope you have a very long and injury free running career!
-
run miles. lots and lots and lots of miles . the more you run, the faster you will become, but i'd say what others have said...ease in gradually with c25k and take it from there. you can sustain 30minutes already, so you could skip the first 2 weeks, but the more miles you log, the faster you will become over time

just keep your focus and don't OVERDO it..you had to learn the hard way. exercise will teach you how to have a better understanding of YOUR body ( you are a snowflake,we are all different) in the same way good eating habits will teach you a good relationship with food. Rest and recover when you need to, and keep going. it…

Well done !! I am thinking of doing the Leicester half marathon but the website is useless!!
-
Take the rest days...perhaps use one of the 'rest' days for cycling/elliptical or other cross training. as the course progresses, it gets more demanding. rest days are just as important as training days, and stretch after each session. forging good habits NOW will save you a ton of injuries later!

no thanks. i'll take my chances.

indeed. but you dont go to an unhealthy place and expect to/attempt to eat healthy. if youre gonna go to Mc's, then why not eat whatever the heck you like??? Nothing hookers do would surprise me, by the way.

I started it and quit c25k on FIVE Occasions. On the 6th time, I made it count. A year to the day i started c25k that 6th time, I ran my first marathon. This program will change your life and any perceptions you have about what is truly possible. Good luck , have fun and a wonderful future as a runner of any distance!
-
Yep. going to Mc's and wanting to eat healthy is like asking a hooker for a hug.

You ABSOLUTELY MUST MUST MUST MUST write to the head office of The Sports Authority and complain about the store and the level of ( non) service you received. Not only will that idiot be reprimanded but you have the right to courteous service. I once complained to Niketown in London and they invited me inshore to help…

The ONLY reason I do weights and strength training is to make my legs stronger to become a better runner. I couldn't care less about abs or big muscles. I run. I'm a runner. It's what I do.
