agree with most people...just a small addition : With winter approaching, if you are running when it gets dark/darker, invest in some high-visibility gear ( reflective or day-glo) and possibly a head torch so people can see you coming.

Everything Carson said. Running isn't for everyone , and it's important to enjoy the exercises that you do. Running for me became more enjoyable the more I persevered with it..I had attempted and given up on c25k 5 times before finally sticking with it. More so than any other exercise I have done, Running perhaps makes…

Running is deeply psychological. The gargantuan distances we run as 'long runs' require even more effort mentally than they do physically. Just think about how far you have progressed, and try visualise the finish of your marathon, the euphoria that goes with it and avoid counting miles...thats akin to watching the clock…

I never needed to make 'fat jokes' at myself...every single person in my life was willing to crack them at my expense.... turns out the joke's on them now... " I run more miles in a month than you drive, mofo!!! " " How's the personal trainer thing working for you?" " All you can eat is an invitation, not a challenge" "…

he is EVERYTHING that is wrong with modern British Society. I despise him and his ' humour'....I'd love nothing more to see him locked up in a room with Dennis Leary and see how that pans out.

I started with c25k in June 2012 ( my 5th and final attempt as I kept quitting, it was just ''too hard''), and just kept going, by May 2013 I had completed my first marathon. But I did invest in correctly fitted running shoes right from day one. Building up mileage gradually is what worked for me, and as well as weight…

It ONLY works if YOU work. eat less, move more. repeat until satisfactory results achieved. then comes maintenance. and marathons. and triathlons. and all other kinds of stuff you never ever in a million years imagined you would be capable of doing.

you miss the point totally. big food corporations couldn't care less if you get fat or not. They just want you to BUY their products...you said it yourself that their food is 'junk'...
-
it's pretty simple why: Fast food nation and food giants want you to buy their products and become 'addicted' to them. The pharmaceutical companies have a vested interest in this, as people's well being deteriorates, they make money from treating you. Couple that with powerful, strategically aimed marketing techniques,…

YES you can. Millions of people around the world have and many millions more have never ever had a diet based on animal substance. It's up to you if you wish to do so ( P.s...I'm one of the many millions who have never ever relied on dead animals for my survival)

not mad at all...just sad that people who partake in the sport I love so much feel they cannot participate in it without the need to carry devices that are specifically designed to kill other human beings. thats sad, not mad...sister. P.S..kind of ironic you force your opinion on the need to want to * potentially * kill…
