Mama to 4 (8,7,5 and 13 mos.) living in South Idaho. Used to live in Pleasant Grove, UT...so we aren't very far from each other! Sounds to me that if you started lifting weights you would shape up very nicely :)

sounds like your immune system is very low! Try Folic Acid and Echinacea. Prenatal may be needed as well...even if you aren't pregnant it can be helpful :)

Right on! I've tried both theories and have to say that eating what you want doesn't work. I feel full of energy and lose weight quicker when I eat healthy.

I think most people in "poverty" aren't really....I have friends that are supposed to be poverty level and they have smart phones, internet service, cable, the works and they wear shoes I could never afford.....pretty sure those are necessities! Thanks so much....I have 60-70 lbs to lose. I measure once a week. I don't see any loss in my belly and hips anymore. My waist gets smaller all the time. 35" waist and 49" hips!!!

Have you seeing a big change in your body lifting heavy with fewer reps? I'm new to lifting and am curious about shorter reps/heavier weight. And do you do cardio as well?

Does that burn more calories or just build muscle and how many extra calories do I eat based on 1400-1500 cal diet. Will I loose fat? I have 60-70 more lbs to go...

I better get a heart rate monitor then.....MFP says 90 min of circuit training is 1070 cal and I usually burn (based on machines at the gym) 600-800 cal on the treadmill and elliptical +weights. I was wanting to do "2 a day" because I'm not seeing results anymore.
