  • Generally guys don't think about that at all. We don't ever think about your prior relationships unless you bring it up. So if you're worried, don't mention it. We are extremely simple.
  • I am on week 8 day 2. This is a great program! I really didn't think I'd complete this. If you have an I phone the App from Bluefin Software is really worth the $2.99. It keeps track of your days, gives you prompts when to start running/ walking etc. and allows you to play any music you want in the background. Have fun…
  • What's dad doing during this time? You can't do it all, so get dad to help. My wife got home earlier than I did, miraculously she always had done homework and dinner by herself. I used to be in charge of math drills and spelling words (I always did spelling words during breakfast, math drills were after pajamas and before…
  • I find that I can stay in much better control by starting my food day at 5PM. Just like you I find it much harder to stay within my food plan in the evening. This way if I have an evening transgression I have the next day to eat more modestly to compensate or get some exercize. Good luck!
  • I just started back yesterday. I go on Monday, Friday and one day on the weekend. I prefer to mountain bike outside in the morning, but even in San Diego it's too cold at 6 am this time of year. :-(
  • Finished week 7 today. Week 8 is just a 3 minute increase and week 9 is just 2 minutes more that that. I'm actually going to finish this thing!!!! Ya hoo!
  • Did week six day two today and I was comfortable. Looking at day 3 has me a bit worried; running for 25 minutes. I hope I surprise myself on Sunday as I did when the 20 minute run comes. Having trouble getting rid of my "slow fat kid" self image.
  • I bought a microwave omlette maker at Walmart (it was by the microwaves). I put about a cup of frozen veggies in there and zap it for 2 minutes. Then I put in some egg beaters and zap for another 40 seconds or so, add a slice of low fat pepper jack cheeze and zap it for another 20 seconds. Top it with a little hot sauce.…
  • Great job Mango! You're an inspiration.
  • I put some in my smoothie every morning. It's not unpleasant at all. Really sort of nutty. I would put it in a salad or oatmeal. Kind of like toasted sesame seeds.
  • Today I completed week 5 day 3! I was really worried about running for 20 minutes without stopping, but I did it and honestly I felt I could have gone farther. This is an amazing program, I feel strong and am starting to enjoy this. I never thought I'd say that.
  • I consider the protein and fiber numbers to be minimums rather than maximums. While I try to stay under my goal number in calories and fat, I try to go over in protein and fiber. I wouldn't worry about protein being too high unless you're over double your goal.
  • Did week 4 day 1 yesterday. I was stressing myself out about the 5 minute runs, and I did them. They were a bit of a challenge, but doable. It really didn't do any good to stress out about them. I'm going to try to just take every week as it comes and enjoy the ride. I was using a Podcast, but I broke down and spent the $3…
  • Terrific job, what part of this isn't a success story? We're all doing this one day at at a time. You just had a successful week. That's a great success story.
  • My wife has the same breakfast every weekday morning: She takes a slice of whole grain bread, spreads it with peanut butter, plops a banana in the center and rolls the bread around it and eats it like a hot dog. Quick, easy and kinda close to PB&J.
  • 10,352 + 80 = 10,432
  • Also, I'm sure most everyone on here has a few unhealthy foods which we may indulge in from time to time as a treat, but she obviously wasn't acquainted with this food. Why learn to eat something that's not healthy when you're trying to improve your diet.
  • I don't think so, look at the stats for what you are eating, I know the sodium is a little high, but we just need to keep that in our stats. I certainly don't want to eat them everyday, but I think a little moderation is heathy and keeps us understanding that this is a lifestyle change and not a diet.
  • Avocado and tomato with a little hot sauce, yum! I'm on the West Coast and this wasn't something I should read right before lunch. Now I want tuna!
  • He is absolutely just as nervous as you. Stop worrying about yourself and think about how to make him feel at ease. Make him feel sexy and he'll do the same for you and you'll both come running back for more.
  • I consider the protein and fiber recommendations as minimums, so I try to exceed them everyday. I consider the calorie and fat to be maximums and try to stay within them.
  • 24.6% BMI from 45.6 to 34.6. I can't wait until I'm overweight.
  • Thanks, I'm going to go for week 3. What's the worst thing that can happen, I'll be back at week 2, works for me. I'll let you know how it goes.
  • I finished week 2 and then we took a 4 day vacation, although I took my shoes, & inteneded to start week 3, I ended up taking a week off. I'm back on tomorrow, however I'm not sure if I should repeat week 2 or start week 3. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,
  • My plates are not removable and I as soon as I take the food off the grill I lay a very wet paper towel on the grill shut it and unplug it. Then after dinner the grates have soaked and are really easy to clean. If you are cooking for one or two people, I would just buy the small $20 model. It works just the same.
  • Fat Free Refried Beans Soak overnight 2 Cups pinto beans (washed and sorted) 8 Cups water add 1 diced jalapeno 2 diced onions turn the slow cooker on high for 8 -10 hours add salt and pepper to taste juice of 1 lime you can mash some of the beans either with a potato masher or remove to food processer if desired.
  • Finshed week 2 last night. I feel great. I'm looking forward to Friday morning for week 3.
  • The morning works better for me. I find that I just don't get it done if I plan in the evening. I'm either too tired or I end up having some obligation come up. I seem to never have a calendar conflict at 5:30 in the morning, plus it sets the tone for the whole day.
