I LOVED Bologna and Jelly when I was a kid. It totally grosses me out now, frankly I can't even get past the bologna.

Well, your *kitten* won't always be fat, but his head will.

How do you get to and from school? Could you walk or ride your bike instead? Working your exercise into your transportation is a real time saver and helps make it a habit.

I've been making my own cheese lately too. I thought I was the only one. Great job! It's a lot of fun, it feels more like a science experiment than it does cooking. I've just been logging it with the same commercially made statistics. Cheating myself as I often use 1% milk. I know, not what you were looking for.

Find a very deserted stretch of road to ride on in the rain. Your stopping distance will be greatly compromised, but more importantly the visiblity of cars and their stopping distance will be compromised. So unless you can find a deserted stretch of road to go out and play in the rain, I'd skip it until the weather…

Has anyone done the Tour de Palm Springs? I'm considering giving it a go in February and wondered if I could get some first hand information. Thanks,

I love everything about this. I'm going to try it this week with Chicken breasts!
-
So how did it go? I can just imagine how excited he was, and it must have been just as much fun for you! Great memories for everyone.

I never got a bbgun, probably because my parents knew I would shoot my eye out (looking back they were probably right).

That's one of my favorite things about riding a bike as an adult; under the right circumstances like going down a big hill, I still feel exactly like I did when I was seven and first felt the freedom bike riding brings.

Mine is extremely hot. I use: Chili de Arbol (3 oz) 1 White Onion 5-6 garlic cloves Cover a cookie sheet with foil and spray with Pam, take the stems off the chilis put on cookie sheet, peel and slice the onion about 1/2 inch thick and put on top of the chilis, peel the garlic cloves and add them also. Bake in a 350 oven…

Don't feel weak!!! Heath improvement and especially weight loss is never easy. It is a very personal journey and you have to find the path that works best for you. I've had many friends who struggled for years with weight loss and found that surgery made the impossible, possible. However, it isn't an easy way out; it is…

I love the Rosarito Ensenada Bike Ride It's 52 miles from Rosarito Beach to Ensenada in Baja Mexico. The first 25 miles or so go along the coast and is pretty flat and scenic. The ride then turns inland and you have some elevation for the next few miles, you then get to a character building hill called "El Tigre" and it's…

Well of course they're not good for you, they're full of artificial sweeteners and chemicals. You didn't need us to tell you that though. I personally don't drink them anymore, but I think it's all about personal choice and balance. If you're drinking 3 Big Gulps a day then I would say you should cut back and look for some…

Okay, I'm off to a slow start this month as I was out of town on business last week. I'm in for 200 miles this month. So far I've only got 28.

I'm in, thanks for starting this thread. I'm not sure I want to go for 20 pounds, but I guess I have until next Thursday to ponder that question.

What's a Polar Rate Heart Monitor?

How about shrimp and cocktail sauce. Good lean protein choice. I'd bring a bed of ice to put it out on for your tailgate.
-
Something with a measured portion works best for me. I've been buying those little sundae cups (the kind that used to come with a flat wooden spoon). They have 100 calories. It's the perfect amount for a daily ice cream fix and they are a lot less expensive than the "diet" ice cream bars or sandwiches.

Good grief, you're going to put Plastic Surgeons out of business with talk like that, scheech!
