I hit a plateau when I lost 51lbs, and I had to change a few things. First I altered some of the foods i was eating. I changed from skim milk to almond milk. Then I started eating more nuts, switched to greek yogurt, and quit having any foods with artifical sweetener. As far as working out, I still workout 5 days a week,…

At my best weight I was a 36C. I gained a ton of weight and went up to a 46D. I've now lost 100lbs, and am down to a 38C. They are smaller, but not by what i believe is my natural size. I still want to lose another 40-50 lbs, so who knows where they will be then.

I use a polar hrm, & I love it. Probably the best invesment I have made aside from my ipod. I love the abilty to raise my heart rate to boost my endurance. Plus it's a more accurate accounting of calories burned. As far a pedometer, I quit using mine because some are to sensitive. There is an app for cell phones called all…

Eat a really good breakfast at least 1 hour before. Stretch, and try to relax. My best advice is to not stop @ all. Your legs will feel like cinder blocks. If you have to go very slow, almost a turtle pace do it. My first 5k I stopped & walked for 2 mins, & I thought I would die. I've done 6 since, and I'd rather run slow,…

Maybe workout at night. This might help exhaust you to get to sleep earlier, and you'll be able to sleep in as opposed to having to get up. I'd try it for 2-3 weeks, and see what comes of it. You know I'll meet you there 3 days a week if you need me. You are still in the stage of figuring what works for your schedule.…

Welcome! Feel free to add me, we can all use help & support. My advice is take it one meal, one workout, one day at a time. Thinking in long terms gets harder to do, and most give up. I took my weight loss 10 lbs at a time, and now I'm only 1.5lbs away from 100. You CAN do it!!!

Get rid of them! I believe if you keep them, you will wear them again. If my new clothes were to start getting tight, then it would force me to realize i'm possibly gaining, and need to get back to basics. I keep one piece that I wore last summer, and occasionally I try it on, and just marvel at my progress. You can do…

Feel free to friend me, we all can use support. If you're ready, then you will do it!

Aww, that's wonderful!! Most times our clothes tell the real story as opposed to the scale. Congrats!!!

Congrats!! Feel free to friend me, we can all use encouragement.

Thanks everyone! She has no willpower to speak of, and she just doesn't get it. I'm not tempted by food any longer, so I don't let her bother me too much, it's just so underminding. That's like offering a cigarette when you know they are trying to quit.

Amazing!! What a hottie!! Yo have so much to be proud of! This makes me excited to post my pics in a few weeks. What a great job!! Thanks for the inspiration!!

I love this!! I broke up with 94% fat free popcorn for Lent. It was hard! It was my go to snack when I was hungry, and was tired of fruit/veggies. Recently I started a relationship with a similar man, 100 calorie mini bags. I only make time for him twice a week, but so far so good. If my weightloss stalls, then I am…

Squats, lunges, and planks. The first 2 I do 100 a day, and the plank I hold anywhere from 45-60 seconds a set, and then do knee touches while in plank, or balance on one leg.

Music! That is what keeps me going. Try something new, and just push yourself to try it.

I don't get it either. I NEVER eat back my burned calories. How does that make any kind of sense? I thought the point was to eat healthy, exercise, and change habits that got us this way. Why on earth would you eat more just because you exercised? Are we not suppose to burn our stored fat? For me, I don't eat back my…

Fresh foods that don't require cooking I measure out. Cooked foods I measure after they are done cooking.

Me. My name is Paula & I am an everyday weigher. Eek! I haven't told anyone else that. I'm trying to break the habit. It's dangerous, bordering on obession. Maybe we should pick 2 days, the same days every week, and then post it then. Scouts honor!

Great job! WoW!!!!! You look younger, and look at the difference in your clothing. Isn't it funny how we would cover up because we wanted to hide? And now look at you! You're an inspiration. I think I'll do the same thing when I hit that mark. I'm @ 80, and about ready to take a picture! You go Hot Mama!!!

This is a great post, because I do the same thing. I have a pitbull/german short haired pointer mix and her real name is Smuckers. Pooboo, pookalita, slickers (that's when she's kissy), smackers (when she needs a smack for misbehaving, I don't but I want too) sleepy time puppy (when she's napping on the couch) and snuggle…

5 1/2 months. I'm at 79 now, and it was just my 8 month "diet" anniversary. What is your time frame?

I have 2 from the same day: I went to lane Bryant to get a new bra, and had to be fitted for a 38. Now that's not my final goal, but I was a 46 just in October. Then when I went to try on shorts size 14, they didn't fit. I didn't realize that there would be a day where i didn't fit into anything there. I was hoping it…

I am extremely lucky, everyone in my life with the exception of 1 person supports me. My husband is great, he tells me all the time how proud of me he is, and that I have inspired him to get in better shape. The only person that doesn't get it is a freind from high school that gets frustrated when I don't drink, or eat her…

Thanks everyone for the replies suggestions. I do take my vitamins with food, but i will try eating a snack before bed. Hopefully that will help. I appreciate all of the support & advice!

I swear I am not pregnant. I always eat before I exercise, at least an hour before. I can't workout without eating, I usually burn between 1100-1800 cals per workout so I could never do that on an empty stomach. When i first started doing crossfit training I would sip diluted apple juice to prevent vomiting, now that is…

Thank you! All of the support I have found on this site is invaluable. I think it's great that you are getting there. It's a lot better than where we have been. Congrats on all of your success!
