Thanks everyone, that's put my mind at rest! This article I read also said anything above 25g would cause a lot of tooth decay, but I'm 30 and don't have any fillings so I guess I should have been skeptical! I might try and use fruits with a lower sugar content some days in the week anyway just in case.

re: the throw, it was during the self defense training we do for 15-20 mins everyday. I really hate anything that involves falling or being thrown so I tense up a lot, which I think led to the injury most of all. I told my coach I'm not happy with it until I lose some weight and he's eased back a bit on it thank god! But…

Thanks for the advice! I wrecked my wrist a bit tonight when someone did a wrist lock and threw me down, using my own body weight against me, the trouble is my weight is too much! I get such a buzz off training though, I wish they had classes everynight

I've been learning Taekwondo for 3 months, 4 times a week, and love it, also done some ju jitsu and mma. I'm the only overweight person in my gym (100 lbs to lose) but it's good motivation to keep up with the rest of them, and it's the first time I've been at a gym and not been made to feel embarrassed about my weight!
