  • Everyone please feel free to add me! My diet is all liquid due to health issues but I love having friends on here!
  • I'm doing Keto which is high fat/medium protein/ very low carbs. I also strive for 70%F 25%P 5%C. Also saturated fats are not the enemy we once believed. There is so much research out there on this! Saturated fats help regulate hormonal systems and your mind (which is mostly made of fat lol). So a type II diabetic, celiacs…

  • Hello doing the Keto here. I try to stay under 20 a day. Would love to have some more Keto friends! Feel free to add me!
  • Anyone try this one by chance? http://www.puritan.com/nutritional-concepts-brand-0216/pppea-protein2-lbspwd-025533?scid=3763&cmp=gpl-_-025533&CAWELAID=520010730000015663&gclid=CJqV7Iq_zcACFehj7AodggcA1Q
  • I kinda have to agree. I'm already struggling to work up to the current challenges. Give me a week or so of doing this straight and then I could slowly add in a few reps. I know I can't be the only very large, out of shape person on here that is busting their a*s to keep up with the group because we really want to do this.…
  • If this is the full story and an honest portrayal then I think it may be time to considered counseling and if he refuses figure out how to leave him. No one needs to be talked to like that. Sad part is that him speaking to you in such a way will only make you depress and more likely to over eat. If you can't get his…
  • Is it sad that upon seeing that today was the same as yesterday I cried a little inside? Lol.... those squats. And those planks... today I really will spread them out through the whole day and do the sets hours apart. Maybe that way I can finish all three reps. My thighs are crying :D
  • Well that was interesting! Got my steps in with two walks, one of which wearing my 40lb toddler in her Tula. I managed to finish two reps with the squats lowered to 10 each rep and each one held for 10 seconds. I also went over with water. Oh and my food intake was stellar. Finished the day with 300 net calories (eating a…
  • Hardest part for me! No more hiding I guess..... Starting weight: 271.8 Challenge starting weight:271.8 (4/14/14) 40 week goal weight: I don't want to set a goal. I just want to work steady. As long as weight comes off at a decent rate I am happy.
  • Hi everyone! My name is Krystina. I have two wonderful kids, an eight year old son and a two year old daughter (three in August). I'm 28 and engaged to a wonderful man. Our wedding is in December (12-13-14... how cool is that date?! :D ) and the thought of being a fat bride makes me want to cry. I've used MFP before and…
  • I am in my third day of my vegan journey. I am doing it for both ethical reasons and for the health of my kids and I. So far the best thing I have come across is black bean burgers! They were super yummy! It's a bit harder for me because I also can't eat gluten (I have Celiacs), soy (son is highly allergic), and I refuse…
  • Thanks to all the helpful people of this thread! I am on day one of veganism. I started by only buying "ethical" meat (which found out later is a bunch of bull if you are getting you meat from the grocery store...). Then I went to eat meat only a couple of time a week but ate eggs daily. And a few days ago I watched…
  • I agree. Basically 1200 is the very lowest you can go AND STILL BE HEALTHY AND NOT STARVING. So why the hate? It's in the healthy range? I was given 1350 cals. So I try to hit anywhere from the LOWEST (1200) all the way up to 1400. It really is annoying when I have a 1200 day and people ask me if I'm ok. Ugh!
  • Due to a very recent diagnosis of Celiacs I am also gluten free. It's a daily fit just because it is so hard to avoid. I have become very attached to my sweet potatoes though lol. You can add me if you wish. I would love someone to bounce ideas and recipes off of. :)
  • I think this is the best post I have seen on here! I am also training to become a runner. I did my first C25K on Tuesday (12/11/12). That very same day I sat down and found app for every stretch of the was, 0-5k, 5k-10k, 10k-half amrathon, and half-full. I need the apps because I need to just do what I got to do without…
  • Feel free to add me! I have been at this for 4 months now. Friends do help!
  • OMG you girls are making me hopeful! I HOPE I loose the boobs! Mine are way to big and I am half thinking surgery to get them small. I hope I have you issues! My first sign was I could wear my class ring again for the first time in years. My legs looked awesome right about the same time. And someone else said the "feeling…
  • Thanks everyone for your responses! At least I now know for a fact that I am not odd, I just need to find a different protein powder lol. Thanks everyone for being candid on such a gross subject lol. :)
  • I do eat meat once or twice a day. I also try to get some veggies and almonds in to up my numbers. For some reason I just never hit where I am suppose to be.
  • I actually don't get enough protein- which is why I started the protein powder lol. I drink anywhere from 20-30 glasses of water everyday (I have health issues that make me thristy all the time lol). Oh and it is the Desinger Whey stuff lol. Taste super yummy but my tummy just doesn't seem to like it lol.
  • Thanks for answering the actual question! Lol :) So I am normal... yay (I guess lol)
  • I use the EAS Lean 15. Not bottom shelf but not the best of the best either. It does contain mailk products- but I have no issue with milk or lactose. It's gotten to the point I have to take 2 Gas-X and 2 Tums after every shake. My diet is the exact same besides the addition of the protein powder.
  • When I was shopping for running shoes I read a bunch of conflicting stuff. Some said I need this type of shoe and yet another would tell be the exact opposite. I ended up going with a happy medium shoe- the Asics Gel Blur33. I went from non active to running a few miles a day and these shoes are great! My last pair I had…
  • Beef, a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies, brown rice, a splash of low sodium soy sauce and voila- you have beef stir-fry. I had this about 2 ago lol.
  • Oh and I know my ticker says "0" but I gained about 20 lbs from when I first made this to when I actually started to use it (a 4 month difference). Since I started back up with this three weeks about I have lost about 8 lbs so far. It won't show up on my ticker until I get back to my previous weight- grrr lol.
  • Yes! Once you get into the habit of logging (and after a bit it really does become second nature thanks to the phone app lol) and be honest it get easier. If you are not being honest due to embarrassment then put your diary to private while you work on gaining control of your eating. I don't believe in "stomach shrinking"…
  • Before it was fear of getting made fun of. The fat girl at the gym, or the fat girl running, or even the fat girl buying a cart full of healthy stuff. I always though people were looking down on me. Then I realized that no one cares and the few that do are sad people with no lives of their own. Today was a bad day for me…
  • Hey if guys could add me aso that would be great lol. I sure need the support!
  • Ugh so true! My weight is actually going up while my measurements are going down. Threw me off for a bit. These pictures help me feel better lol.
