  • This has been going on for me on and off for a few months. Disconnecting and reconnecting worked before but now it's not updating at all.
  • Hi! I'm no newbie to MFP but have gained weight back after too long of a time on steroids. I'm down 15 lbs so far this month and want to lose another 50-60. I'd like to lose another 25 before my 30th birthday in July.
  • Former vegan here. While I don't eat too much of it, I do consume some meats and dairy now. I've been trying to stick to a mostly vegetarian diet for this round of weight loss. Feel free to add me, too!
  • Same here! I always seem to yo-yo and am back at an unacceptable weight. I've lost 15 lbs this month and hope to lose another 15 next month, too.
  • 24 years old, 6 ft, ~175 lbs., medium frame, women's size 10 shoe. I want to lose another 20-25 lbs. I wear a size 10 dress/pants and hoping to wear an 8 when I'm done. You ladies are so tall! It's nice to feel like a shorty once in a while! :)
  • I'm experiencing the same thing right now. :( I'm either too tired to eat, too disgusted by the thought of eating, or afraid to eat because of not wanting to face the pain that it will bring. It's a very difficult thing to face... I had to go from my super healthy eating that I've been tracking on MFP since the beginning…
  • I have the same problem. What I've done is bought tunic style shirts. They're made longer because they're supposed to fall below the hips and onto the the leg (on women of average height). On me, they're just long enough to be a normal length shirt. With this new waist I have, I throw on a cute waist belt, and viola! I…
  • 6', medium frame, hourglass/banana figure (don't know yet, have to get fit first :p) CW: 174 GW: 147 Highest Weight: 286 (pregnancy...yikes!) I have no idea what weight I should be. I tried browsing through mybodygallery.com to see what other tall women look like at different weights. I've never been in this weight range…
  • :( I'm supported, but then I'm not. My mom thinks I'm crazy (as she loads margarine all over her food and tells me that she DOES eat healthy). My husband questions my motives, tries to sabotage my diet, tells me my butt is going to be too small... My sister has recently dropped a bunch of weight using over the counter…
  • I don't go to bed at night until I know exactly what I'm going to eat the next day. I log it to hold myself accountable, so I won't give into temptation. It has kept me on track so far. :) Sometimes, it's just so easy to "reward" yourself, or to convince yourself that one little snack won't hurt...but that puts us back on…
  • Agreed with the Skinny Cow products. I've liked every one I tried! Also, do you own a kitchen scale? I've given up on measuring most foods with measuring cups. Using my scale (purchused at Bed Bath & Beyond for $20), I've learned SO MUCH about portion sizes. Weigh your ice cream. :) Also, Ben & Jerry's has low fat frozen…
  • This exactly! My husband is only 6'1" and I don't ALWAYS want to tower over him!
  • I have never been a fan of breakfast...but I force myself to eat it every day. I've found that since I've been eating breakfast every day, I've actually lost more weight. I always eat two egg whites, fried, and either a piece of toast or a bagel. Most days, I'm not hungry for lunch later. I attribute it to having a…
  • Me too! Diagnosed 4 years ago, med free for 2. I was very overweight when I found out and eating a salad was WAY out of the question. It would make me too sick. Slowly but surely, I've gotten back on track and can eat my fruits and veggies without immediately regretting it. I've noticed staying on track with my diet really…
