I think avoiding the fried items = the healthier option. You could choose boiled rice over fried rice. I think choosing vegetables, seafood or chicken in black bean or oyster sauce is healthier than some of the other richer sauces. Soups are probably the healthiest starters.

Running outside, you have different terrains to contend with and you may adjust your speed in comparison to on the treadmill. Well done for making the transition. I always find that if you push through the first few times, it does get easier.

I zumba once a week at a class at my local gym. It is really fun and it's quite a social thing for me as my friends come along with me.

Thanks for all of your replies :) I mainly do running, circuits and I have a weights machine at home. I also do zumba once a week. I was worried that with my rest days not being very active, I might not get the best results.

I'm not a veteran but when I did my half marathon, I had a banana and energy drink before. This got me through ok.

Me and the OH started it yesterday. My stomach hurts this morning due to ab exercises but I didn't get very sweaty or find it too difficult (I think this is because I'm used to running and a fair amount of aerobic activity). I find the push ups very difficult though after the first few. The OH doesn't exercise at all and…
