Just made the switch to Almond Milk. LOVE it! And, there is some info that I've read recently about cow's milk that I wasn't thrilled about... The only thing I don't like about the Almond milk, is that it's taking time to adjust to the thickness in cereal, but other than that, my family likes it!

I'm no expert, but I would think it's ok as long as you're properly fueling your body as well (calorie intake and fluids).

I've tried running with a flashlight, but it was too bouncy. So I bought a headlamp with a hinge so I could change the distance of the lighting, but I actually have only used it for projects around the house! I can so relate!! I had been loyally following the 1200 calories and eating back majority of my exercise calories earned and didn't lose more than 2 lbs for a good couple of months (even prior to joining MFP). Egg whites Beans I use Morning Star meat substitutes a lot for dishes that normally use ground beef or sausage - there's something like 10g of Protien per serving in those.

Are there any trails or parks near by that you can walk/hike? Go to your old football field and climb the stairs, do interval runs at the track, do you have any friends still in town that you can buddy up with? My 16 year old is recovering from a bad sprained ankle. She has been doing the bike and elliptical without much aggrevation to the injury, along with upper body strength training. Walking, running, and swimming (I think the flexing motion when kicking) bothered it... Good luck to a speedy recovery!

Sometimes it might happen because the shoes are too tight, but for me, I think it happens becuase of how I 'push' with the same part of my foot. If I mix it up every 3-5 minutes and vary the 'push' with my toes, the ball of my foot, my heels, and the whole surface of the bottom of my feet, they don't go numb on me.
