I don't see how weighing daily is useful and is more likely to stress you out. Weigh once a week same time, place and clothes ( or no clothes ). You're more likely to see positive changes thus feel positive ☺

are you eating any carbs? i certainly found that if i had say chicken and salad leaves for lunch i would be very hungry in a couple of hours-however adding in a small piece of bread etc would make a huge difference. also, i've personally got my settings to 1 lb a week as it means i can eat more. Whilst i may lose weight…

Have you seen a podiatrist? I'm suffering with plantar fascitis myself at present and it's pretty depressing. There's exercises that can help, NSAIDS, cold packs, insoles and the other thing im trying at the moment is Crocs! They helped massively last time. Plus as my podiatrist pointed out.....losing weight! Good luck x

I'm not a naturally active person, but the more you move the easier it gets and becomes habit. I've done almost 2 months and go out for speed walks when I can at lunch and instead of coming back bright red in the face, I'm coming back just looking a bit pink! You can do it, maybe get a pedometer -it certainly encourages me…

the main thing you have to realise is that nobody gives a damn what you look like -everyone is too busy worrying about themselves to care about you. And if they care what you look like then they're pretty boring people  Also if this is such a mega holiday, then all those other people on holiday will just be…

feel free to add me if you want a supportive friend :)

i totally agree, i've failed too many times because i've been horribly disappointed that i'm not thin now! I'm on 1lb a week and i try to only 1 x a week, and sometimes it's been 10 days to lose 1pound-but hey that's great! As long as i keep losing the weight, i don't care how long it takes because it's a lifestyle change

ellipticals are surprisingly hard work! i used to have one (don't have the room though) and did have to build up my use over time. Don;t beat yourself up!

If you like him then you could cook for him rather than having takeaways. Also suggest going for walls, bike rides etc. Then if he's definatley not up for that stuff, then you'll know he's definatley not right. When I met my ex i only ate ready meals, he started cooking for me and I've never looked back. Also my present bf…

argh typed the message about soluble and insoluble on my phone and when i was tired and it's all a bit muddled! If you have constipation, gradually increasing sources of soluble fibre – such as fruit and vegetables, oats and golden linseeds – can help soften your stools and make them easier to pass.
-
Great suggestions! Ta! Always welcome more too ☺

There are two types of fibre, soluble and insoluble. Soluble tends to stick in your bowels so if you suffer with constipation then you want to eat more insoluble fibre Dried or canned beans Peas Oats Barley Brown rice The flesh of fruits such as apples and oranges Dried fruits Vegetables such as carrots For comparison,…
