i'm a chocoholic, i pretty much have no other vices so i'm not giving this one up! However, i'm keeping away from milk chocolate as the sugar makes me crave more so i'm having a piece or two of dark chocolate everyday -though i prefer the ones which have bit of mint or raspberry in them. enjoy!

green tea, white tea, chamomile tea, water you needs to be careful with lemon/lime/fruit teas as very acidic and bad for your teeth!

at the end of the day, surgery carries risks and it sounds like you're not keen either! weightloss through eating well isn't super quick but it's worth taking your time. As a classic over eater and comfort eater it's taken me quite a long time to get to a point where i have control of my eating habits. Personally I found…

You could say you're going for a walk in half hour and see if that helps? I'm in a similar situation

cool, I plan on visiting Finland next year for my birthday! Visited Croatia when I was younger too -beautiful country!

I have similar statistics but no health issues bar IBS. my personal best advice is get a pedometer, exercise is so important but it's doable via walking a lot not just via the gym

Firstly you need to listen to your body. Are you actually hungry? If not, then make the conscious decision not to eat. If you think you are then have a drink because the chances are you actually are just thirsty. I drink lots of herbal, green, white teas. I have a camomile that's kinda sweet but naturally so, which takes…

So do I, but using it as a reward is not a great idea :-) back massage sounds cool though!

Hi I've just turned 39 and need to lose 30-40lbs. It's more health related but I do think the big 4-oh makes you realise you need to look after yourself so you don't age badly. My Mum has everything under the sun due to obesity and I don't want to end up in the pain and misery she's in. Friend me :-)

Hello! happy to have more encouraging friends :-D

One point which may have already been mentioned is acid erosion ( not read through every comment! ) I'm a dental hygienist and the major problem I see with carbonated drinks is the severe damage it has on enamel. It dissolves the enamel leading to sensitivity, chipping and potentially the need for huge amounts of…

I don't exercise per say, but I try and walk as much as possible and I've started cycling to town rather than driving. Just need to incorporate it into your day. Walk up stairs rather than using the elevator, etc. Get a fit bit as it will encourage you more.

Just trying to prevent it with weight loss and exercise. A client discussed it with me recently and did mention how low carbs is meant to help. Also have read about very low calorie diets for couple months can actually reverse it.

the thing that has helped me most with portion control is HOW i eat my food. So, my food is in front of me, i take a mouthful, put my cutlery down and chew slowly then repeat. By eating slower and being aware of eating i feel full quicker and stop eating when i'm full. Seriously try it!

brilliant!

awesome! i'll be honest this is my third attempt and i have surpassed my earlier efforts! i think it's not too dissimilar to quitting smoking, most people don't succeed first time round. Good luck, i hope you do well :)

think i was 15 when i first saw it at a friends house and then not too long after a big group of us went to see it live at the Bristol Hippodrome. We ALL dressed up! First time i went as Cloumbia and spent weeks sewing sequins onto a pair of hot pants! Been to see it live 4 times in all-the once it was one of the big…
