Wow! We are off to a good start. Still waiting on the answer to the cardio question, but here's our totals for yesterday: 140 points and 150 minutes of cardio. Today, make sure you get at least 10 cups of water in...that's going to be a hard one for me, but knowing that you all are counting on me will help a lot! O'll…

I have asked our head lady about this, Hthfamily. I will let you know as soon as I know, k? How's everything going today, ladies?

Got a question from a member of my team for ya. She does water aerobics for exercise will that count for anything? What if we don't typically walk/run/bike/swim (laps)? Thanks! :-)

I just did half of my crunches for the day. Now I remember why I despise them so!

Go to the Food tab then click settings. At the bottom is Diary Sharing. You can change it to just share with your friends if you don't want everyone to be able to view it.

Ok, sounds good to me...I was just popping on here to see if anyone else had responded. Good to see you here, Stephanie! :-) I shall send our info in to the head lady then! And we will get started tomorrow! I'm so excited!

Hiya Ladies! Just checking in today. We have to get our team name and captain to jagrib0112 by this evening, so I was hoping to get a little more input about all that. I'll keep checking in...I am sure we will hear more as the day goes on. That's what I get for being a SAHM huh? :-) I keep forgetting about work schedules.…

Yup, I am a loner too!

For anything except pasta, I am good with. But you let me at some pasta, I am going to eat it until it's gone or I burst. It's awful really. So, I try to stay away from it. And every now and then, I will save my calories to have some.

How verbal are your kiddos? Mine has just recently gotten a lot better in that department...not anywhere close to perfect and it's been a lot of hard work getting him here. He's going to be starting kindergarten this year. I'm excited to see how that goes...he's going to be in the main classroom for most of the day. Not…

I am right there with you! I have a 5 year old son with autism and a 10 year old with ADD. I started going to the gym last year to help with my strength because the 5 year old is VERY strong and he's a big boy! I didn't start the whole weight loss thing until just recently though...my health has started to be affected, so…

Hot, are you running too fast? That has been a problem for me. I keep wanting to push it.
-
Awesome! Loving the list of questions! I think you are doing a great job already, MakinMoves! I think you would be a natural for captain, but I will throw it out there that I am a SAHM so I don't have the limitation with time, but this is also my first challenge... I would be willing to do it if need be! :-) Now, on to the…

When I started, I had no idea how much I was eating or how much I was supposed to be eating. I know that the recommended daily total is 2000...I just had no idea what that looked like. So, when I started here and put in my goals, I was given a reasonable amount to shoot for. I have found that even if I have not had a good…

Ok, so I apparently need to see this movie you all are talking about. :-) Since I haven't seen the movie, my vote is for Mission SLIM possible. I am really excited to get started!

I make mine decaf with splenda, so I count it as water.

Just got back from the gym and did w3 d1... so I had to run for 3 minutes twice. I did it! I was nervous because I had pushed myself Monday and was still a little sore this morning, but I did it anyway. About the taking it slowly, absolutely! Do what feels right for you! I know several people who have repeated weeks just…

That works! :-) Anybody creative and can come up with a great name? I'm not good in that whole creative department.
-
Awesome!! Are we going to come up with a new name? Any ideas on Team Captain? I sent out a message to everyone this morning, but haven't heard from anyone so far. I can't wait to get started! :-)

Pasta.

I haven't yet...except for a few weights for upper body. But I have been battling shin splints and was kinda afraid to mess with them. I really want to do some Zumba, but I don't want to sabotage my runs either. But on a positive note, I think I have decided what my first official 5K run is going to be. This has been on my…

One of the reasons that I like to run on the trail is that I still have to get back to my car even if I give up, so I might as well do it and get there faster! :-)
-
I would love in! Throw me on whatever team needs someone.

For me, I started feeling fuller longer by not eating so many carbs. I am a pasta addict, and I can certainly tell a difference now. I just had pasta yesterday and I can't seem to get full today! Argh!

I finished Week 2 yesterday. I ran it on the trail with my Nike+ sensor and found that I definitely run faster outside...but I am also running too fast as I can't catch my breath at the end of it most times. Still looking for my pace out there, I guess. But it was good and I am interested to start Week 3 tomorrow. I will…

I finished week 2 yesterday. I ran it on our local Rail Trail. I go between that and the treadmill at the gym. During Week 1, I decided that I liked the trail better because I can go as fast or as slow as I need to...yesterday, I found that I actually go faster on the trail. No wonder I am breathing so hard! On the…
