1 cup yogurt 2 cups frozen fruit 1 cup skim milk Makes enough for two of us. Have been thinking of adding some protein powder to make it more filling. Still looking into it though.

I would love to get in on this too! My vote is for teams or pairs too.

Nothing here either...I keep checking this thread everyday. :-( I was really looking forward to the too.

There are several apps that you can have on your iphone or ipod that will give you the cues to run/walk. I have tried two of them and you can use your own music with either. the C25K app or Get Running are pretty awesome apps. If you have an iphone, the get running app will tell you how far and how fast, I think...I only…

I know I read it, but I can't remember how we find out if we get in. Anyone know?

What an awesome little girl you have there!! I have tears on my eyes now. Congrats on the run and raising such a wonderful young lady!

Yes, unfortunately it will only work if synced to either iPod Touch, iPhone or iPod nano. Thanks for the encouragement...it really means a lot! :-)

I just did week 2 day 2 today on the treadmill. It was, honestly, the best run I have ever had! The shin splints didn't bother me too much today! :-) I wasn't winded nearly as much as I had been being...I know, I was probably running too fast, but today, I was actually running a little faster! I am so excited to be seeing…

Feel free to add me! I love to encourage and get encouragement!

Most people think to lose weight, you have to "diet" and starve yourself. So, to see someone doing it healthily would be different. I think he meant to compliment you, nothing else.

My name is Misty, I am 5'2". I have been doing this by myself and decided that I needed to have someone really following what I am doing and hold me accountable for it. I would love to provide that same support for someone else as well.

I started in June with a few hiccups, but I am in the second week. Plan on doing w2d2 tomorrow. Guess I will be doing it on the treadmill because the temps here are crazy for outside! Yuck! My starting weight was 237.5. I use an iPod with the c25k app: http://www.c25kapp.com/ I have just gotten the Nike+ sensor to use with…

I count anything that is caffeine, calorie, and carbonation free as water. So, I will count splenda sweetened decaf tea as water. But like has been mentioned...everyone has their own opinion and it's a question that is often asked.

I just blogged about my experience with C25K so far. http://thechaffins.blogspot.com/2011/07/couch-to-5k.html

I wear Brooks Trance 10.

That's the same as on their website, so I would assume it is as they prepare it.

I don't know how to add pictures to my posts.

Never compare your beginning with someone else's middle.

Does anyone have the Nike + ipod thingy? I was thinking about getting it because I run on a trail and have no idea how fast or how far and I am just nerdy enough to be interested in that data! :-) I was going to start w2 today, but things went weird. We went to the midnight viewing of HP7 and I only got 3 hours of…

I'm 5'2", weigh 235 and have PCOS. Right there with you all! :-)

Ok, here we go...for what it's worth. Apparently, we didn't measure very well because our measurements are all over the map. Also, our starting weights are wrong. :-( Mine (Female, 5'2"): Starting weight should have been 237.2, today's weight is 235.2. forearm: 11.375 wrist: 7.625 hips: 51.375 waist: 46.375 Exercise…

Relationships and pregnancy seem to be the most fattening things around! Congrats on figuring it out now and doing something about it!
-
I do too. I have heard the same thing. I can attest to it too, because I am always starving during that time!
-
Awesome, I just clicked over here to ask the same question! :-) Thanks for all the great answers!

He gave you the rest when he asked to join. I just needed to add the height. We post our updates on Fridays, right?

I am back from finishing w1! Woohoo! I did it! I wanted to quit...I wanted to walk instead of run. But I did it! I pushed through and did them all! Woohoo!! :-) I am really struggling with my shins and my feet cramp while I am walking, but not when I run. But I finished. I am going to go ice my shins now, but I just had to…

guitar4hisglory is my husband, so I will probably be posting his info too. He doesn't log on like he should, but he wants to participate too. He forgot his height when he posted before, so here you go: 6'3" Thanks for doing this, it's really giving me some motivation!

I am about to go out and do my w1 d3 run. This is the one that I stalled on last time...I learned WHY you need to be hydrated and stretch. Ended up with some really painful cramps! Ouch! So, I am sitting here drinking and stretching as I type this. :-) Wish me luck! :-)
