Are you counting other drinks like coffee and tea too? If you're drinking a couple cups of coffee and other drinks as well as the water that may be why. Remember caffinated drinks are diuretics.

I'm 5'9" my goal is to lose about 40 lbs. I'm eating 1400, I can't exercise daily but I aim for 3-4 times a week. I try not to rely on the extra calories from exercise.

For me it's my double chin! When I can finally see my neck without a shadow I know I'm losing weight. Sometimes it's the little things only you notice that inspire you to keep the momentum going! Congrats on your milestone! Hope you see many more along the way.

I've fluctuated between 40 lbs. and could still wear the same size, I think so many clothes are made with stretchable fabrics that they just expand with us as we gain and contract as we lose. I'll bet if you went into a store and tried on clothes a size smaller than you're wearing they'd fit you great. BTW I am impressed…
