Sorry. It's open now. Losing about 1/2 pound every 2 weeks. Calories are set to 1610 per week plus 260 for nursing. I burn 250-450 calories per day with heart rate motioned exercise and I eat those calories back. I use a scale and measuring cups.

An easy way to add calories is to add fat, the good kind :smile: Olive oil, real butter, whole milk, all nuts- peanuts are the highest i think. Would be great at making your milk more nutritious for the baby too :flowerforyou:

Start with your BRM which is 1817 calories per day (based on the apps on this website). This is your "I do nothing and don't want to lose or gain" calorie goal. Add in exercise calories. I have actually read that menses is the perfect time of the month to do cardio due to the specifc hormone levels at that time, and with how the hormones work in the fat burning process. So if anything, take advantage of that and 'Get the cardio on!' to utilize the fat-burning strategy. :happy:

I have learned to just never weight myself on my period. It's just not useful (or true) information. I do however still try to exercise.
