Hello myfitnesspal peeps,

If any of you have some nutrition skills I'd appreciate you checking out my numbers. I am working hard and seeing physical changes but barley a budge on the scale. It could be the muscle build, yes I know, or my lower metabolism at 33 and 5 months post pardum. Or maybe the nursing... Just not sure if I'm totaling it right. My diary is open but here's some of the numbers:
Weight: 194
Height: 5'8.5'
Age: 33
Medium to large build
Nursing full time a 4 1/2 month old
Doing 30 day shred most days with running and bike occasional. Taking one day off from exercise per week and one cheat meal (not a binge) per week.

Anything else you should know please ask. Appreciate the tips thanks!

    Your diary isn't open.

How much are you losing a week? How many calories are you eating a day (including breastfeeding and exercise)? How are you measuring them (food scale, measuring cups, eyeballing portions?)

Sorry. It's open now. Losing about 1/2 pound every 2 weeks. Calories are set to 1610 per week plus 260 for nursing. I burn 250-450 calories per day with heart rate motioned exercise and I eat those calories back. I use a scale and measuring cups.

Was hoping someone could recalculate to see if their recs are much different than what I have set.

I did run the numbers on here http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/ and came up with 1900-1950 to nurse/loose weight. Your settings look right..

2300 calories gross doesn't seem to be off at all. When I started on Mfp I was nursing a 5 month old eating 2100-2300 cal (gross) and was losing about .5 lb/ week. I'm 4 inches shorter than you and had about 10 ish lbs to lose. Ditch the measuring cups and stick with weighing your food. Give it a few more weeks and see if anything changes.

OP, I can see that there are some things you are not weighing. It looks like the fish and chicken are, but the rest is not? Perhaps I am over seeing something?

What is your method of logging food? Weigh using a food scale? or do you measuring spoons and cups or a some of all?

Thank you guys. I weigh things that are hard to measure and measure with cups and spoons for other things. I will try weighing more often.

If it has grams listed somewhere, I would weigh it.
