I wouldn't stress too much about what time of day you are eating. I do not have an eating disorder, but was very sick with a parasitic infection several years ago and just never felt like eating. If I had felt like eating at midnight, I would've just eaten. I'd say just try to eat things you know are healthier for you,…

My husband and I gave up Pepsi about 14 years ago by replacing it with decaf iced tea. I started out with more sugar, but now in a gallon, I just use 1/3 cup of sugar and we only have soda as a treat once in awhile. And honestly, now it's too sweet and I could never drink a whole can. There are antioxidants in tea that are…

Seriously! I had to laugh at the body changes at 20's to 30's...those are the good years for your body!

If it really bothers you, wear headphones so you can't hear them yelling and sunglasses so they can't tell if you're looking, and just keep on running. Who cares what anyone else thinks, cuz you're doing this for you!

My Stats 42 yrs old Mother of 3 Height 5' 1.25" Highest Weight while pregnant 150 Highest Weight not pregnant 135lbs Current Weight 130lbs Goal Weight 125lbs

Just over 5ft 1, started at 135, got down to 125 but mostly vary between 128-130. I eat 1600-2100, depending on how hard I worked out that day. If I ate 1200 and didn't eat back my exercise calories, I found I was feeling weak and faint. Definitely be sure to fuel yourself!

It's whether, not weather, and of course we are "allowed to". If I pay for a gym membership, you can't tell me I am not allowed to lift a weight, b/c it's so heavy it might hurt some guy's ego...:blushing:

Breastfeeding melts the weight off, if you stick with it for awhile! I wouldn't stress too much this early on, as it takes a little while for things to shrink down. Eat healthy and eat enough and drink lots of water!

I am just over 5'1", 129lbs, and I eat about 1650 calories on days I don't work out, often over 2000 cals on days I do work out. Otherwise I'd have no energy at all and feel awful. And 42 yrs old.

Once I finally got up the nerve to start lifting in the "men's" section, this old man came up to me and told me I was bench pressing the wrong direction. Huh?? He got me all flustered but I watched all the people who were fit and actually lifting weights and I was doing it just like them. That was awhile ago but I have…

I strongly believe in all things in moderation. I know that I can't realistically eat mostly just fruits and veggies, not do I want to. I have followed this principle all of my life, including eating "junk" food, and have never been more than a tiny bit overweight.

You're right that I'm taken by Sammy! Thanks, I am gonna be 42 in a couple of weeks and you should see all the $$ coming in from the banana slicer! haha:laugh:

I would say it depends how long ago you had your baby and how hard you have worked to get rid of it. If you had a baby recently, like within the past few months, it takes a little while for that extra skin and fat to go away. If you haven't worked to get rid of it at all yet, I am sure exercise and eating right would help,…

I would never allow my scantily dressed young teen daughter to sit in a steam room with strangers!

Yep, I'd like to get to 120 but have been between 125-129 for a year and a half. Heavy lifting, more cardio, less cardio, more calories, fewer calories, etc... Just isn't gonna happen. I eat around 1700 calories on my non workout days and closer to 1900 on workout days.

I am here too...only weighing twice and month and trying to measure instead...

Thanks! I never tried Zumba but would like to...at home first since I am super uncoordinated in group workout settings!:blushing:
