If you can spend time playing with her, kicking or throwing a ball, playing tag in the yard, etc..., it won't even seem like effort to her, it will be a fun time spend with daddy or mommy! My kids are allowed a very limited amount of "screen time" and have to learn to keep themselves busy in other ways. Some kids are more…

My Grandma had this! We loved to play with it when we visited her.

I looked at your diary and would suggest you eat more. I have low blood pressure so often have that dizziness anyway if I get up too quickly, but when I was working out alot and not eating enough, it was alot worse. You need fuel to function well.

I've never heard of eating kangaroo!!:noway:

Runkeeper lets you choose whether you are walking or running or biking, etc, which seems to help make it more accurate.

5', 1.25" here, started at 135, got down to my goal of 125 but very hard/impossible to stay there...I vary between 127-130 but would like to be closer to 123-125.

UGH! The worst!:grumble:

I breastfed all three of my babies and am short as well...5' 1.25". It does take time to lose that weight, but if you keep breastfeeding and eating reasonably (I actually ate alot while breastfeeding), most of the weight should melt off within the next several months...it does take time.Enjoy your baby!
-
Probably around 5 lbs when my friend asked, but I don't have too much to lose and I'm short so every 5lbs really shows.
-
This...you won't be doing one armed dumb bells so 45 lbs should be very do-able. I started this program with a couple of the movements at 45 lbs and moved forward pretty quickly. The hardest by far is the overhead press and I was told by some people on here that women typically have weaker shoulders and it is a harder…

I had been using the smith machine at the gym for a couple of years, but had shoulder and elbow pain. Then I got a squat rack at home, and didn't have those pains at all while lifting. It's definitely more natural feeling to use a squat rack as opposed to a smith machine.

yummy!

A squat rack from my husband, who is planning to join me in heavy lifting this year! Also some Under Armour socks from my kids. Also just got a bodymedia link which was my gift to myself ; )

I bench without a trainer unless I am benching over 70lbs and need a spotter, just incase. I finished week 6 of Stronglifts a couple of weeks ago and plan to get back to lifting heavy again after the holidays.

I always do shampoo every other day and conditioner every day. My hair isn't oily though, so it's worked out just fine for me. My hair is thick and wavy/curly.

I didn't for my first 3 and then when I did for my 4th, it made a huge difference. Helps to motivate me and also to not be able to hear my own panting!:noway:

I applaud your recognizing you were making excuses and making changes!

I wouldn't stress about losing the weight right now. Just take care of yourself and the baby:smile: I had 3 c sections and nursed my babies and the weight melted right off within a few months. Just try to eat healthy and drink lots of water!
-
With all 3 of my babies, I was back to pre-pregnancy weight within 6 months. If you nurse your baby, it melts right off. I gained between 45-50 lbs with each of them.
-
WOW, that's some serious commitment! Great job and keep it up with your new, healthy lifestyle and eating habits!

Exactly! I hate feeling so hungry and tired on rest days, simply b/c I am "not allowed" to eat more than my rest day calories. With the TDEE, I can fuel and not feel bad about it:smile:
-
After logging as you have been doing for over a yr and a half, I just switched to the TDEE method and am only a couple weeks in, so I can't give you any results. But it sure takes off the stress of trying to work hard some days to eat more. I just plugged in my average hours of exercise on Scooby's tdee calculator and have…

Agreed! I love my tall boots but like them a little snugger at the top. Otherwise, you could totally carry them off!

I agree. My husband is close to 6'2" as well and is around 190-195. If he lost 50 lbs, he would looks very very thin and sickly.

I'm just over 5ft 1 and am stuck around 130. I got down to 125 summer of 2011 and didn't stay there long. I have been doing heavy lifting and hopefully am gaining some muscle so that's ok that I'm at 130 but I don't want to go higher! But my jeans size is still 8/10 b/c I have wider hips/big butt...I'd like to be closer to…
