A way to stay motivated is by looking at your body in the mirror. If you don't like what you see then start making some changes. That is my motivation. Every time I think 'okay i have lost a little weight, i can stop now' I just go and look at myself in the mirror and see if the body i have now is what i really want.

This happens to me all the time. I can relate so much. It's really just a mental thing that you have to overcome, but it's just so hard. It's just so hard to overcome those mental barriers and those habits that you have built up.

I mean you would probably lose weight doing it in the short term because you would probably be ingesting fewer calories than normal if you were only drinking liquids, but you have to think about the fact that ingesting only liquids is probably not going to keep you very full while you're on this diet.

Being 5'1 and 120 pounds puts you in a normal weight range for that height, so for the most part I would say don't worry about it too much. You're already at a healthy weight.

I don't even know if you'll be able to get through the day if you only net 200 calories. If you net 1200 calories, you will lose weight. If you net 200 calories, you probably won't even have enough energy to go about your life.

I think a lower calorie food is worth it if it still tastes good and is filling. If it's lower calorie, but it doesn't fill you up, then there is no point in eating it. It's perfectly normal for you to be upset about this. It was an incredibly rude thing for them to do to you. But, I'm sure it was just stupid teenagers being stupid teenagers and these things happen. It's okay to cry about it and be upset about it and then you just have to move on from it and keep progressing!

You can lose weight without exercise, you just have to eat less. Also, just keep in mind that although you will lose weight, you probably won't become any more 'physically fit'

With stuff like this, it's usually more mental than physically really. Half the time people aren't really all that hungry when they eat a lot. Sometimes they are just bored. So, I would say, work on the mental aspects of it.

I feel like i'm the exact opposite of OP. I find it really hard to cut back drastically on what I eat, so I make up for it by going on the elliptical for a longer amount of time. I find it so much easier to exercise more than to eat a lot less.
