I get the “better than xxxxx” brand. Fill in xxxxx with pasta, rice or noodle. They travel well and are super easy to cook. They are not as off putting (stinky) as other brands I’ve tried. I like to use the rice one as a side dish sometimes. That handsome man I married says they are weird but not terrible. Lol

They found it by accident, as most mastocytosis diagnoses are. It’s generally not something they look for. They’ll check for things like Lupus…

I too get histamine-like reactions to things like wine, beer...but mine is due to mastocytosis (a mast cell disorder). it sucks, but that's why Tito started making Vodka.

Fat is a variable. Set your protein as sunny suggested. Protein is a must. Set yourself a carb ceiling. I.e., 20g (you choose) Fill in with fat as necessary, to satisfy, keeping in mind the less fat you put in your mouth, the more that will come off your butt-or wherever it comes off from. I make my own plain yogurt :) I use Hwc. It’s delish and not difficult especially if you have an ip. It has a yogurt button. I have a yogurt maker but my sis and daughter both use their ip. The cool part is you know exactly what goes into it. We also use it as sour cream. That nice man I married doesn’t even question.

My goals: Stay on plan. Stay in a state of measurable ketosis (blood ketones) - in this i know my glucose is in control. If you eat scrambled eggs, instead of having 2 eggs, try 1 egg and 1 egg yolk scrambled together, perhaps in coconut oil... I like that for lunch on weekends, sitting on top of a serving of cottage cheese. mm mm goodness. Avocados are wonderful. salmon is too.

Am on travel for work this week, but having a great trip so far. Good focus, sleeping/eating well. Nice blood ketone levels between 1.5-2.0. Lets have a great keto day peeps!

i make bone broth regularly, I'll heat some up, put it in my magic bullet with some added sea salt, butter, coconut oil and a touch of HWC. whip it up. its really quite good.
