You shoot them - lol (just kidding!! ) You can't shelter yourself from the real world (unfortunately). Just look at those times of being around "unhelpful people" as times to build up your resistance, will power & discipline to say "no, thanks". Times like that you have to remind yourself why you're on this journey…

You know, Jesus said "When you fast..." (Matt 6:16) not "If" you fast. Fasting is good for us - spiritually, mentally, physically.... Sometimes I feel like I'm insatiable when it comes to food & it gets really extreme, so I have to go "extreme" in the other direction & fast & that always works & brings me back to the…

How often & how long do you workout? I can relate to the "loving to eat" thing but the cool thing about working out is that it allows you to eat more - . Your body needs the nourishment that you're getting from food, so purging is only going to hurt you in the long (& short) run. There is no quick weight loss…

Try cutting back on your carbs & your sodium (they're pretty high). Try to keep your sodium somewhere @ 1500 and try to have your protein higher than your carbs (while still cutting back on your carb intake) & see if that doesn't bust your plateau.

Hello there! I can relate...feel free to add me. :-)

Lots of great ideas here everyone, thanks! Feel free to keep them coming!

I agree with everyone else. You need to be at least doing 1200 cals & eating back (at least) a good portion of your workout cals. Also, if you're working out "every day", you need to rest at least one day out of the week. I was working out everyday & wasn't seeing any weight loss until I forced myself to rest one day & the…

I noticed that too, but I also have to check my body fat # on those days as well, which ends up being SIGNIFICANTLY lower than it is usually. It is frustrating, but like it's already been said here, it's nice to know what's actually going on. I'm going to "try" to rest today & bulk up on my protein & see what happens…

Are you eating enough calories( & yes, that includes eating back your exercise cals)? If not, your body could think you're "starving" & holding on to the weight. Can't tell if you are, but if you're not eating enough cals. you need to start doing that so your body knows that "everything's ok" & it'll start letting go of the…

Why not try renting it first before you make a purchase? I borrowed mine from the library.

Good Job!! :-)

http://curezone.com/cleanse/liver/huldas_recipe.asp I've done this flush several times and have had success with it (I tweaked it a bit, for example I didn't use a sleep aid - didn't need one, and I didn't use the black walnut tincture - was doing a colon cleanse that covered that). The first time I did it, only expelled a…

So sorry for your loss....& no, you cannot mess up 3.5 months of hard work in 3 days. Whatever you may have gained, most of it is most likely water weight & that comes off quickly. You're fine, just pick up where you left off.

Those are under calisthenics.
-
Just in case it's relevant, sometimes back pain can be associated with being dehydrated, just in case you're not drinking enough water.
-
As long as I'm getting my basic 1200 calories eaten, I don't worry about eating the exercise calories - at all.

The scales at the Dr's are NEVER in sync with your scale - N-E-V-E-R !!! If I were you, I wouldn't sweat that. How did your clothes feel when you put them on? If your clothes are feeling more loose (& your like the number on your scale better), don't worry about them & keep moving forward.

The reason you should "bother" with it is because your mood is temporary, but the end results you'll reap from all your work will last a LOT longer than this temporary funk you're in. We all have moods where we want to just quit, but you have to get your focus back & remember why you wanted to do all this in the first…

Where's the "Like" button when you need it? :-)

Might I add that forgiving someone doesn't necessarily mean that person is supposed to be back in our lives either.... just a thought.
-
Ultimately, whether or not you choose to forgive this person has absolutely nothing to do with them at all - whether or not they apologize, make the first move, or do anything. Your forgiving them (again, if you chose to do so) is ENTIRELY up to you. If we were to wait for people to acknowledge/apologize for wronging us,…

Hmmm.....Ok. Thanks so much everybody! Good info/advice!
