I definitely stick to my calorie intake during social events. Not to sound rude, but to your body calories are calories. Your body does not say "oh it's a special occasion so we won't count this cupcake". Try to stick to the vegetable platter. I also do not understand the TDEE. Mine gave me some huge number that I automatically dismissed. I'm pretty active but still overweight so why would I double my color intake. I need answers too so I hike someone responds soon.

I too have been a yo yo with my weight all my life. From being very big to being too thin back to being big. I don't know how many tips I have but I could use some support as well. Getting in shape for your kids is a great goal. And I'm sure once the little one arrives there will be plenty to keep you busy and get food out…
