On other people it is hands down the skinny jeans, Im sorry but this style is only made for a select few... For myself it is a specific shirt that I have had forever. For the last 2 years of my weight loss journey I have had this shirt hanging in my closet thinking when I get to my goal Im going to wear this proudly and…

Here is my story that proves most of your voices wrong. I was heavy and inactive for the majority of my life. I am smaller now than I have ever been. I have lost over 60lbs and I am married with 2 kids under the age of 4. I have been a work in progress for the past 2 years with the ups and downs, but have maintained the…

Actually I am running the Wineglass half in Corning NY. It's supposed to be a beautiful course and relatively flat (which is good). Some of my runner friends have run it in the past and said its a great race for a marathon newbie like myself. :)

My kids are 3 & 4, they both know that they eat what they are given or they don't eat. If I cooked mac & cheese or we had pizza every night Im sure they would eat with less argument. My girls eat whole grain bread and love fruit and vegetables, because its been that way since they started on solid food. Not to say there…

Im also using this group as a chance to break myself from my scale addiction... I made it through the week with only weighing myself once since last Wednesday, that is big for…

I ofter have to, I have days where I burn more than a 1000 calories, if I didnt eat some of those back I would be famished. However I usually keep about 200-300 to make sure that i am honest in my portion sizes ect.

For me losing weight has definitely made me look younger. 3 years ago someone guessed my age at 32!!! I was horrified, these days after 60 lbs lost people are always surprised when I tell them I just turned 30. A lot of people guess my age around 25.

I also feel like my biggest supporters are on here. My husband is loving of me heavy or in shape, but he doesn't understand my drive and passion for exercise. Although he always watches our short people so I can go to races and on my long runs. The rest of my family (his side and mine) are all over weight so I feel like…

I have a little $10 pouch that hooks to my laces and holds my sensor. I can't run with Nikes, so I just strap the sensor onto my Asics and go.
-
I LOVE Nike + especially when I first started running, it helped me keep track of my improvement even when I felt like I wasnt getting anywhere. Im blue :)))

I have to agree here, I have lost over 60lbs, people ask me what the trick was... No tricks, I work out 6 days a week and I watch what I eat. I know that everyone has to reach their own place before the can truly change their life but it really comes down to hard work and making a serious change in your life style.
