Sadly after my first baby I didn't lose any of the weight, and then I had my second less than 18mths later. So I was pretty heavy after baby #2. That baby just turned 3 on Sunday and I am 20 lbs under my prepreg weight. I just read and amazing book about women and running, and it said you should give yourself at least the…

I keep mine private because I dont want anyone commenting on what I eat. I know my eating is balanced, and I make room in my menu every day for sweets. I also dont track any water because I easily drink 80 oz a day so I dont really think about how many individual glasses I have had. So I dont want people telling me every…

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have a very honest/horrible before picture. When I was at that weight I didn't feel like thats what I looked like. My clothes fit, and my husband was always kind to me never making me feel repulsive ( thats my word to describe the picture) . So now I know I am smaller but I…

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/226121-my-weight-loss-journey-with-pics These are my before and after, my youngest was 6months old in the first pic. My kids are about 18months apart so there was zero work in between the two of the. Its not perfect but Im pretty happy with the difference

I have to say my husband has been very supportive of my weight loss. When I told him I wanted to join WW his response was ok, as long as I have enough to eat and Im not eating tofu. Is there any way you can get her on bored with you. Maybe if it was something you did together it would change how she feels. Im sure it hurts…

This is great, the scale sometimes seems to have a mind of its own, but something tangible like this can give you a real boost! Congrats on a great NSV!

These are great! I dont have a picture but my favorite quote comes from an exertion chart that hangs in front of the treadmill at the Y - "This is hard, but I can take it." That is also my run mantra if Im trying to push myself.

This is a tough one because I also de-stress by running or working out. One thing I do if I cant work out is work on something else that will give me a similar sense of getting something done, and will keep me busy so I dont eat. Cleaning my kids rooms or tackling the garden weeds - keeps me busy, maybe a few calories…

I call him my dirty old man lol, he is 7 years older than me. He calls me sweety. I guess he is nicer than me.

Thank You! I think I will try making some and see how that works, much prefer that to buying a powder.

Ohhh me too, Whenever I tell people I teach exercise classes and that I would like to be a personal trainer they always give the once over. I want to be sure that there is no doubt based on the way I look.

Ok my secret goal is to go out with my friends and be the center of the male attention. This is totally shallow and I am very happily married, but I would love to go out and not be the fat friend, and instead be the hot one. Oh and to wear a bikini and know that I look hot and not be worried about covering up and hiding,…

At my heaviest I weighed more than dh, by about 25lbs. In case your wondering he is 6 inches taller than me so there isnt any excuse for it. I told him as a way of facing reality about my weight and how out of shape I had gotten. Plus he was at the hospital after dd was born and heard the readings on the scale when I was…

I would do an upper body workout, maybe a solid chore workout. Its probably good to give you legs a break.

I grew up as an army brat. I attended 7 schools before I graduated, and I have lost count of the number of houses that I have lived in. All my siblings and I were born in different states and my older brother was born in Germany. I married someone that lived in the same town his whole life and I think he is weird.

Good for you, your stats are amazing! Its says a lot about you that you realize that you are in a very healthy place and staying there but not quitting your journey, Just shifting your focus. I have about 10 lbs then I will be there with you.

I definitely have this issue. I have a picture of myself from before(60lbs ago) and when I look at it makes me want to cry. I knew I was heavy but my clothes fit and my husband was very loving and affectionate so I didnt feel like I looked disgusting, but thats what I think when I look at that picture. Now I feel like- if…

This week I donated all my larger pants so that I have to get down far enough this summer and I don't have room to bounce back up this winter.

I have a picture that I took as a before, I keep it on my ipod. It is a terrible picture that I took just for me when I started my weight loss journey. Someone I showed it to remarked that I look pregnant. Unfortunately the baby was 6 months old already. When I look at the picture I feel like crying but now, 60 lbs…

I have a lot to say on this but I will try to keep it brief lol. This really hits home to me because I have lost quite a bit of weight in the last 2 years (over 60lbs). I now work as a fitness instructor at my local Y, I am still trying to lose about 15 lbs and whenever this comes up I get the exact same responses. "you…

Mine is Ann, 3rd generation with that as a middle name

I wish I knew you so I could give you a hug, the people who a closest to use cut the deepest. I get the same thing now. When I tell people that I am still trying to lose about 10 lbs they start telling me I will disappear if I lose anymore weight. "you don't want to lose those curves." I kinda makes me laugh' I know what…

Someone told me that I would be really good looking if I lost about 20lbs. This seems simple and maybe not that bad, but it cam from someone that I was in a relationship with and it was a very hurtful to me. I was always self conscious and have had many other comments and insults about my weight but this is the one that…

Random thought- are the people in your family also struggling with their weight? I have a lot of obese people in my family and sometimes I feel self conscious when they go on about my weight loss. Im not sure if I worry that they will think Im judging them for not following the advice that -they asked ME for. I talk about…

Bump, very interesting, it makes me wonder if Im having trouble losing because im not eating enough for all the exercise I get
-
So I don't have this problem, Im lucky to fill a B lol. However Oprah and my very well endowed sister in law tell me Enell is the way to go. They are pricey but apparently well worth it for high impact activity.

An 8 year old kid :blushing: and guide dog. no wonder I felt like sh1t all the time. not a google result but I have lost a little less than the weight of my 2 kids.

The best way to burn calories is to get your heart rate up and down. You get into your cardio zone then do short bursts of higher intensity (less than 3 minutes) your body will start to burn at the higher rate. Don't try and stay in one range get it up and down. That is the best way to use your hrm to get the most out of…

The Yoga X program is not easy, I always end up getting frustrated. I often skip to the first 45 minutes or so of all the balance poses and go to the stretching part. Or I skip it all together and do the X stretch.
