  • Thanks : ) Ive been hiking now for a while, but never clocked my cals until now. I guess its just a case of listening to my body, makes sense as well to eat a bit more the night before and the day after
  • I really love breakfast... I tend to go with cereal now with skim milk during the week. However for a real energy burst I used to make my own muesli with oats, mixed seeds, cinnamon, then chop apple, banana, some natural yogurt and a small amount of natural sweetener called agave nectar.. really should start doing that…

  • Thanks so much guys.... so much great advise! I think 2lbs is too much to aim for, there is no rush and a pound a week is fine by me! I love hiking!!! Just uses so much damn energy ; ) I will make sure I eat more on hiking days
