Uh, no.
-
Not to mention the part where it often overestimates calories burned while exercising.
-
This. Other than that it's just art on your body.

You people are probably gonna hate me for this, ha ha, but I seldom if ever get cramps while on my period. As for the fatigue and occasional dizziness, I up my iron intake and it usually helps with both. Calcium and magnesium can be good for cramps and PMS, though. As for the exercise thing, for the most part I'd consider…

152lbs is amazing! Awesome dedication!
-
Yep. When I lost the first 30lbs I was utterly convinced that I looked the exact same and the only thing that could get me to see logic was when I tried on a pair of pants that I couldn't even get on before and they were somewhat loose.

I've had great results with intermittent fasting. The first time I did it I was doing a 14hr-18hr fasting window, and the second time I was doing 21hrs.
-
This. Protein and fat are both vital to the body, but carbs are not.
-
After I actually believe that I've lost weight, ha ha. Usually after the scale says the same thing for a few days.
-
Intermittent fasting helped me a lot with losing weight but I'd probably neglect to mention it if some people who knew me asked because some people are still completely adamant that IF is gonna make you starve and die.

If you look up paleo recipes you'll find tons of gluten free ones (what am I saying? they're all gluten free). I recommend pinterest as a good place to find recipes.
-
If I eat anything with gluten in it I get incredibly bloated and start getting random pains in my gut. So I avoid it as much as possible.

Doing what other people think you should do instead of doing what you think you should isn't respecting yourself. Oh the irony when people tell others to respect themselves based on things like this.

1200 calories is supposedly the lowest you should go if you're a woman who is trying to lose weight. It's not just on MFP, it's on practically every website, i.e. you'll get attacked if you say you're going lower. In my opinion, if you have enough energy, and aren't hungry, why force yourself to eat more? Then you also…

The diet pill I've had the most success with is Lipo 6 Black Hers. The other thing that I've had a lot of success with is an EC stack. I found that the EC stack was most effective when combined with intermittent fasting. A lot of people here are going to tell you that diet pills don't work. Diet pills can help with weight…

Losing a pound a week is not starvation. That's a deficient of 500 calories a day, which is 1500 calories a day WITHOUT exercise if your body uses 2000 calories to maintain. In fact the recommended weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week. Hardly dangerous. Wow.
-
It's do-able. The higher your weight, the more calories it takes to maintain. To lose 10lbs a month you'd just have to lose 2.5lbs a week. http://www.healthyweightforum.org/eng/calculators/calories-required/

I agree. Even when I was obese (I'm now just barely into the 'normal weight' category) it annoyed me. That's not to say that someone can't be curvy at a higher weight, because it has a lot to do with body shape. As for the 'real women have curves' bit, yeah, it's one of those backwards 'body acceptance' things which likes…

Your body, your decision. Do it anyway and once he sees that you were right, he may change his opinion. Either way, it's your decision, not his.

I do hide my diary and have since I joined this website. One of the reasons is because if I made my diary visible I would most likely be too embarrassed to log high calorie days, but want to see where I've been going wrong if I haven't been losing weight recently.

When I hit my high weight I had no idea how bad I looked until I decided to take a 'before' picture (I knew I needed to lose weight). It shocked me into action. I had gained weight because of a couple of years of binge eating problems (which I mostly have under control now). What worked for me at first was intermittent…

I prefer almond milk. It has more calcium and less calories than regular milk, plus it's a bit thicker which makes it great for smoothies. Regular milk is the cheapest though.

Oh my, there are actually quite a lot of uses for coconut oil. It can be used for anything ranging to skin moisturizer, helping get rid of candida, give energy, etc. I had two stretch marks on my stomach from rapid weight gain, and after I began using coconut oil (as opposed to regular lotion) on them, they've faded a LOT.…

No. If I don't want to see someone's updates then I'll just delete them.

body fat percentage can mean a lot. try building up muscle if you're happy at your current weight but want to look more toned.

I was at my computer. Both times.
-
As soon as I know all we're having I'm planning on pre-logging so that I can choose what I want to eat without binging.

This. Fat or skinny. Their body, their choice.

I've been told multiple times that I look like Katie Holmes...though that was when I was younger...who even knows now
