I'm going to do a happy dance and then start the real work of body recomp. And/or maintenance. I reward myself all the time with new clothes. And just walking around in my new body feels like enough of a reward. But I suggest that every woman go get fitted for a new bra and panty. It feels amazing to wear undergarments…

Woo hoo! Awesome.

I wouldn't say that my success is all due to him, but I read his book and practiced visualization for a month or two before starting this new lifestyle and it stuck when it never has before. Not sure how much his method played into it, but I don't think visualizing yourself at goal can hurt. I also think there is something…

Love it and agree completely. :)

Steak, potatoes, veggies. I'm not a fan of their salads much. Not much damage you can do if you stay away from the creamy sauces. I love their chocolate desert. Yum. Enjoy!

W2g. Awesome. Next thing you know you'll double that loss.

I'm 5'4" and 160...

I think I could see a difference at 15. Other people started commenting at about 30, and by 50 everybody else noticed.

Congrats. I missed it too. :( Maybe we can find out how much elephant balls weigh and post when we have lost an elephant penis and balls. :)

I'm happier. But I think it depends on why you are dissatisfied before and how much loss you have. For me... I like me, have a great family, great job, great house. I'm very content. But the one thing I wasn't satisfied with was my weight and resultant bad health. And I really hated huffing up a single flight of stairs. So…

For me... when I stress or get upset I want sweets and salty. I call them my trigger foods because I don't know what "enough" is of them and it usually starts a few days of bad eating. I cut all trigger foods from my diet except for very special occasions (couple times a year). I don't eat them unless I have planned on…

Okay. Been out of the loop with family issues and illness, but I'm catching up on the show tonight and making up for lost time with workouts this week.

It can. But I usually just take the cals to maintenance. Not past. And I usually do it for 3-4days and then go back into loss mode. But that is only if I'm stuck for a few weeks and 100% sure of my cal counting and not already binging.

I tried a p90x workout video for the first time since I was 225lbs. At 163 I was constantly surprised that I was able to do more than I expected. Before I would always do knee pushups. But this time I decided to try real pushups (fully expecting to max out at 2) and I did 20. Made me realize that I might not have been…

Honestly, I was never able to lose weight until I realized that losing weight is 90%what you eat and 10%exercise. Now body comp or how you look is a different story. For years I focused on exercise but either ate too little or overate because the exercise made me hungry. Never lost weight. This time I focused on my eating…

Bump keeps it current on the boards and helps you find it again.

I just love not being the fattest person in every room like I used to be. . Really though, I don't have to huff going up a flight of stairs, heels are more comfortable. I don't feel the compulsion top stare at the ground while I walk, so I now seem more friendly. But I don't think I have really changed. I think other…

Awesome job! Just goes to show that you don't have to wait until you are at goal to start working out. When you are down about 40lbs, go to a sports store and try on a weighed vest. It will amaze you at what you were able to accomplish at your current weight. Congrats!!!!
-
I started at 225 with a goal loss of 100lbs. Currently down 59. It's possible! Don't be discouraged if it is slow, or if there are weeks where your loss stalls a bit. As long as you stay within your cals and are doing things correctly, it will come off. And those .4 or .2 or .8 losses add up and all of the sudden you are…

That's my goal size. And yes I know the issues with sizing, but I have always thought of it as a great size for women. Congrats! :)

I think for me, I had gotten bigger than I had let myself realize. In my head, I felt like 180 when I was really 225. So it wasn't until I started losing weight that I started to really look at my body. So I wasn't really looking better than I thought I had looked until under 180. Now I feel and look smaller than that and…

Gasx strips?

Top down. Face, shoulders, back, tummy, thighs, then feet. Now I'm not sure where I'm going to lose from.

In for team daryl!!

I took my measurements with yarn. Any time I question how far I have come I hold the yarn up to my body to appreciate the loss. I also look at pictures of my heaviest. I don't even recognize that girl anymore. If neither help you may need to see a doctor, because there should be a huge difference. It might be a case of…

See results for eating or working out or both? I noticed some differences weekly, but others noticed after maybe 30 lbs. After 50 everybody noticed. I think all the muscle is just being revealed. But that has been nice too.

Awesome!!! Consistency is the key to long term success.

I went from 42D to 36DD. 53 lbs lost sitting at around 170.

Mind your own business. Or, why did nobody tell you that you were a nosey b? I lost my weight, but you might never lose rude. Okay, so maybe that is snarky, but I'd tell that to my own mother if she ever decided to talk to me like that. But in general: I gained weight because I overate. I have stretchmarks and loose skin…

Dr is the place to start. Because it depends on your health, current weight and your babys age among other factors. Though... I gained 15-20 with both my kids. I never intentionally ate more. Honestly, I let my body dictate eating. But I was also aware that my baby was getting what I was so I made much better choices than…
