We all know can learn quick what we are supposed to eat and how we are supposed to exercise. You've lost a good amount of weight that I am sure friends and family have noticed. I'm there too, and know what I need to do, but some days just don't want to. Then I realize that because so many people have noiticed how much I've…

Olive oil is one of the best, healthiest oils for you. Another good one that can replace veg. oil in baking or stir fry is canola oil. I was on weight wathchers and part of the program was to have 2 tsp. of healthy oil every day. For a long time I went w/o because I was afraid of the calories & it being a fat I didn't…

You don't need equipment or to go outside for good cardio. Do you have stairs in your house? Try going comfortably fast up then down, then backwards, once each way sideways and then forward skipping a step. After every 2 flights do something at the top or bottom, like jumpiing jacks, lunges, or toe touches. After awhile…

Congrats!!!! It'a all the little steps along the way that keep ya going! I know for me getting into that next lower bracket feels good. Now I finally can get there & stay there too!

Click on foods, then click on my foods. There is a create foods tab and you can put in your own foods with the nutritin info. This is good for your own recipes or if you have a label and the site doesn't match.

I can relate. I went on my first cruise over the holidays. I knew how dangerous the food could be before we went & promised myself I would watch it. We really did only eat 3 pretty healthy meals a day and what we could in the dining room instead of the buffet. But the alcohol was another story. At least with the food you…

After being on WW for 2 years I just quit & started on this site last week. WW is a points system. Every food has a point value depending on its calories, fat & fiber content. They give a list and a calculator thing to figure the points. They recommend 2 milks, 2 healthy oils and 5 fruit & veggies a day. I hit a plateau,…

Good luck! If you've done it once you know you can do it again. I too lost a lot years ago & gained it back & more. Acutaully I've been eating healthy now & exercising for 2 years now and have lost 70 pounds, but still have about 50 to go. No numbers needed! You can tell I really gained it back. I just joined here a few…

I used them crushed with a bit of spices quite awhile ago and made chicken tenders. My family liked them.. Chicken stays moist. You can also use them to make onion rings. Just crush, dip the onions in milk, coat and bake til done. These are both hungry girl recipes. Not sure if you've ever gone to their site, but they have…

If I try to give something up it only makes me want it more. I figure giving something up for lent is supposed to be something that makes you better so I try to be more aware of making better choices instead.

I used it several years ago. The weight loss was pretty good while on it, but if you eat anything with fat in it the fat literally goes right through you. It wasn't comfortable. When I went off it the weight came back on. Really the only way to lose weight permanantly is to make the healthy changes in eating habits that…

I have the weight watcher pumpkin cake recipe too. You can use just a 15 oz. can of pumpkin with either a spice cake or to taste like brownies use a cocolate cake mix. But we were told to add 1/2 c. water too. Just bake at 350 for 1/2 hour. You can sprinke cinnamon chips on the spice cake or choc. chips on the chocolate…

I too have knee problems that started after exercising for a long time. I had to give up the jumping things and running. I love Zumba and it doesn't really bother my knees. Just modify parts if they are doing a series of a lot of jumping, maybe bounce to those parts instead. The elliptical is also great w/o any issues.…

It seems the levels should be harder as you advance, but I've done all three and actually thought the second was easier than the first. I do 2 & 3 most often.

My daughter bought the 30 day shred & I do it with her. I too have bad knees so when there is jumping involved I just tweak it a bit so I am still moving along with it during those parts. It's only 20 minutes of working out at a time, but you'll work up quite a sweat. We also have her burn fat boost metabolism DVD. Really…

I'm logging everything just because I have a hard time eating the number of calories they want me to eat in a day. So 10 or 15 for catsup helps me get closer. When I was on Weight Wathcers veggies were free, but they too have calories so they aren't free anymore, just better choices.
