  • Yea! Now I know where to look for a replacement. My VHS one just up and died on me. I have used Richard Simmons off and on all my life, I just like the music he uses. And I put it in as aerobic exercise.
  • Don't be too frustrated, it happens, it did today to me. I ran around all morning to get donations for our Historical Society . Then came home and ate two peanutbutter and jam sandwiches. I'll get over it though. Just keep on working at. The only bummer is I don't know how to count the running around in as exercise. LOL.…
  • I guess I qualify even though I hate to admit it. I just followed the caloric intake and walked everyday. It didn't help me tone anything though. I guess I'll have to crack down on that soon. The support system here was so wonderful though. I have about 10 to go maybe 15 if I really want to stretch it. Been doing it a year…

  • Oh yeah, my daughter came home from work singing this and I'm giving her the strangest look , like "you did what", so she just played the video on youtube for me. It's definately catchy and the provacative lyrics make it bound to be a hit. I played it for my hubby    I guess I feel pretty secure about…
  • I"ve spent the last two days working at the Town Clerk's office doing data entry so it meant alot of sitting. But at lunch I walked to the store and back for a salad. Tonight I managed to get in 40 minutes of hoeing out weeds in the garden. Planted some more green beans. Tomorrow I have to busdrive a field trip but I can…
  • I had 1/2 c spaghetti sauce 2 italian sausage links, 1 cup pasta and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese. Hubby cooked and he doesn't diet. Oh well, I just do a little more exercise.
  • Raining here for most of the day, no outside work, darn, gardening was working for me. I got on the scale and it said 158, but I have to do my official one tomorrow. So we'll see. My daughter is telling me to come up and use her bow flex, but I don't know if I can do that yet. I see my physcial terrorist lol tomorrow so I…
  • Survivor definately and Jeopardy, and the singing one but I don't remember the name    Something lyrics.
  • I have just one before picture and I'm sitting in it ,so it doesn't give a great visual. I think I have broken my plateau, I have my fingers crossed. I got on the scales today and they said 158 and I've been at 160 for three months. Maybe gardening is a good thing after all. lol
  • Thanks, I never thought of using my Forman grill for fruit but I can't wait to try some:smile:
  • OMG hubby and I watch him too, how sad! Makes you want to enjoy every day to the fullest because you never know. We don't have tv until next week. Thunderstorm took out our dish:sad:  More time to garden. Trying to think positive. Thanks for the info Mello. By the way you have a pretty kitty.

  • Last day of school, spent most of it driving a bus. Planning my summer's worth of exercises now. The garden. some dance, and going to work up to walk a 4 mile loop from my house and back. Going to buy batteries for my mp3 player. Day off from anything because I'm going to graduation tonight. See ya tomorrow.
  • Thank you guys, you really made me take a step back and look on what I've done, what I want to do and I just needed an e-hug. I left a bag of scones on the counter for my middle-daughter to pick up on her way home and when I got up this morning she had left 6 banana muffins:grumble: :grumble: She is trying to lose a…
  • Thank you everyone, I'm over my whine now, I ate a perfectly portioned supper and am feeling better, maybe I was just hungry and tired.:ohwell: And yes your right it took much longer to put on than a year. Tomorrow is another day, so goodnight for now, and thanks again.
  • I'm just venting so bear with me. One of my student's mothers made me scones today as a thank you for driving her back and forth to school today(I'm the busdriver/mommy.). That was sooo nice of her and I broke down and ate 2 and then inputted my whole day and the calories for the day which blew me out of the water and I…
  • I managed to get an upper body workout this morning hoeing up my broccolli, cauliflower and peppers. I still have my walk and I'll be good to go for today. Last night watched a fantastic lightning show from my porch and boy did it pour for an hour too, yea no watering the garden for me.
  • Hey everyone, lets see, picked rocks out of my daughters non-existent lawn yesterday so they could seed it down. I don't know how those are counted. I can't remember if I posted this either. Today was a wash, I had to work 2 jobs and am just too tired to care. It's dark and rain is coming, yada, yada, yada. I know it's no…
  • All these people you talk about are grownups, so let them take care of themselves. You don't have to take care of everyones problems. I don't mean to sound mean but you are getting taken advantage of. We'll listen to you and support you when you need to vent or want someone to lean on, but I think you need to concentrate…
  • Yesterday I picked rocks out of my daughter's front yard for an hour. I don't know what to count it as. They just had the house built and are working on the yard around it and we have to get the rocks out so they can seed it. It would cost a fortune to have topsoil brought in. More rock picking this afternoon. I also…

  • thank you thank you thank you, now I can go back and remove 1 serving! I was feeling bad because I thought I was overeating on it.
  • Why does the box of pasta give a dry ingredient amout? Why can't it just say 1 cup is so many calories? So my question is (and I feel stupid because I could just go boil 2 oz of it but I'm being lazy) how much is 2 oz of spaghetti when it is cooked. I always use it as a meal where a lot of people are at so I don't know…
  • Yea! great for you! Hope you are doing a happy dance!
  • yes doing some craft or something is a great way to ignore being hungry, I wouldn't read because I like to munch while I read:grumble: . Personally I got rid of the cookie jar. I just didn't need it sitting there on the counter taunting me   .
