MFP's default calorie, weight goal settings are bull! Follow your nutritionist's recommendations. Trust me, you will lose a healthy amount of weight, at a good rate eating 15-1600 calories. Basically MFP just lowers the number of calories you eat depending on the goal that you input. This is why people get frustrated and…

Fellow college student here! Here are some of my tips. Frozen steamed veggies. There like a dollar and some change per bag. Love them! Ground meat, you can stretch it. 2 pounds of ground beef or turkey costs roughly $15 and lasts me a while. Fresh fruits/ veggies on sale. Whatever your grocery store has a deal on, grab it!…

I'm mesmerized by your ombre font, wow! Okay now that I've been distracted by pretty colors let me go read the post.

Friends are one of the best parts of MFP. I totally had a slacker stage a while back and I could tell the difference. Daily logging and everyone's motivation is what keeps me focused. Always looking for new friends. :)

We can always use more friends to support us and keep us in line! I will add you.

Hey! You can do it, just be honest with yourself and don't deny yourself the good food that you want. Moderation is key of course, but going cold turkey is rarely sustainable. I have been trying to lose weight for what seems like most of my life, and this is what made the difference for me. I would lose 5 pounds, then get…

Strawberries dipped in sugar free Jello powder, greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom, Kind bars. Yum!

I used to feel bad about refusing people- especially if I was in their home, and they made something especially for me- but now, not so much. The more you say no, the easier it will get, but those first few times were tough. Sometimes I will just take a bite or two of something if it's waaayyyy beyond my limits, and let…

I love Jay Robb's whey protein. The chocolate is my favorite, but the vanilla and strawberry are yummy too! I haven't tried his other flavors. It's 110 cals for a 30g scoop and there's 25g of protein, 1g of carbs, and no sugar (per scoop). It runs in the mid $20 range and up, depending on the size. My doctor recommended…

Wow! Now this is some motivation. Seriously. You looks so good, and I love your tats!

Not eating enough is my main weight loss problem as well. And to add to that, the small bit I was eating wasn't very nutrient rich! Getting the net cals up is the toughest part, for me.

I'm 19 and had a go with a 32 year old. I think mid thirties would be my limit. That particular guy wasn't particularly great, but i like the maturity and experience. :)

Your success is amazing, and you are absolutely beautiful! This is so inspiring and very motivating!

Sending you a request now!

I'm new to this group as well, and just started being active on MFP today. I'm looking forward to really losing the weight and keeping it off. Looking for support buddies!

Hi Kim! I honestly have the same question about calories, but I would think as long as you stay under you should lose.
